I agree...I also feel that USA is less racist in general than Australia and UK from whatever I have seen and heard from others..Just that US is always in news cause its the US.

I dunt think australia is racist...atleast i havent experienced it personally. Its quite tolerant towards people of different cultures particularly asians. I work/study at the university and asians are always appreciated and rewarded for their general work ethic and qualifications.
a few instances of discrimination from some douchebags dosent necessarily equate to the country being racist.

Australia is a fairly relaxed and peaceful place...ppl here are usually friendly and welcoming towards different cultures.

Id apply the same theory to america as well since most of my relatives reside in the US and love it over there...

I didnt mean to say that the entire Australia is racist..I have been to Australia and I agree with you abt the country being peaceful.. My cousin lives there too and loves it there :)...I made that comment based on that physical attack on Indian students in Aus news and also coz many Aussie cricketers frequently sledge and pass racist remarks..Nothing else..Personally I have nothing against Aus. I would love to go there again for vacation.

oh its alright..i didnt mean to contradict u or anything..i just gave my opinion as a resident of the country and extended tht assumption to other countries...

i personally dunt think America or UK as such are racist countries...there are instances of racism in every country... but as long as the good outweighs the bad, i consider it a fairly tolerant country. since i havent lived in UK or US, i did not think it was right on my part to pass judgement on those places and hence restricted myself to Aus.
