Ankahee chahat dil mein samaa gaya

Roko to kaise gehra aakarshan?

Kuch der wo gayab ho jaaye, kehta hai man

Lupt huye woh, dil phir bhi na sambhla

Unhe dekhne ke liye, dil bahut machla

Aise mein chap gaya unke naam ka pehla akshar

Mehandi ke likhawat ka bahana na mila behtar

Ched chaad ke khel ne badla mahaul ka rang

Pani mein chipgaya ek shararti kangan

Lehron se khelne lage samkaalik do haath

Nazdeekiyaan jataa rahi ubharte jazbaat

Socha na tha kabhi ek din, aisa bhi hoga

Phasa hua kahin aur nahin, dupatta unke haath mein hoga

Dupatte ke kheencha taani mein, badh gayi dil ki dhadkan

Shart ke bahane de diya, gaal par ek chumban

Translation:

A speed has come in the heartbeat

An unspoken want has found place in the heart

How should this deep attraction be stopped?

Let him disappear for some time, the heart says

He vanished, but the heart couldn't be pacified

It went restless, wanting to see him

Meanwhile, the first letter of his name got printed

Didn't get a better excuse for the writing in Mehandi

The game of teasing changed the colour of the ambience

A naughty bangle went and hid in the water

Two synchronised hands started playing with the waves

The closeness hints at the rising emotions

Never thought one day, this would happen

Not caught anywhere else, but the dupatta would be in his hands

With the pulling of the dupatta, the hearbeats increased

On the excuse of a bet, gave a kiss on the cheek
