The much publicised mythological drama Mahabharat' had a slow start in the UK ratings last night, according to exclusive data obtained by BizAsia.
The 60-minute launch special episode at 20:30 pulled in an average of 102,900 viewers - peaking at 127,900 viewers during the course of the show. Comparatively, when Star Plus launched its last big ticket show SaraswatiChandra' earlier this year, it launched with a bang with over 240,000 viewers tuning in.
The most watched show in UK last night was Pyar Ka Dard Hai' with 204,800 viewers, followed by SaraswatiChandra' with 186,000 viewers and Meri Bhabhi' in third with 133,800 viewers
