Television actor Shivin Narang who is
currently playing the very popular role of
Yuvraj', in Channel V's Suvreen Guggal
Topper of The Year, gets candid with
urlremoved on life and more!
Tell us about yourself?
Well, I am a pakka Delhi boy, and a nice,
friendly and fun loving person!
What made you chose a career in acting
Actually, Facebook got me a career in acting!
Once college was over, I got into a few
modelling assignments and just happened
to put up my portfolio pictures on facebook,
which the creative head of Suvreen Guggal
saw and liked them very much, and so I was
approached for the role of Yuvraj' that way!
Though, I was never very keen on doing a
full time TV show and said a no first after I
was approached, but they insisted and I did
read the script then which I liked a lot, and
now here I am as Yuvraj.
What challenges have you had to face in
your acting career?
As I was new to acting, every step in my
acting career was a challenge for me!
Getting used to the camera, getting all my
dialogues and expressions right, shooting
extensively, and getting used to the fan
reaction too, but the whole Suveen team at
our production house 4 Lions has always
supported and helped me a lot right from
the beginning, and so now I am very
comfortable with shooting and everything
else too.
How does it feel to be a part of the Suvreen
Guggal team?
It just feels great to be part of this team, as
we are one big family here! Our whole team
which includes the cast of the show, the
creatives team and the production team,
bond really well and so every day on set is a
lot of fun! It's as if each person is just fit to
play the role on the show as well as in the
team, that they are playing now! Also,
birthday celebrations are extensive here and
a lot of fun as it turns out to be more of a
holi party than a normal cake cutting
session!! Overall, 4 Lions is a great place and
working here has been a wonderful
experience for me, which I am thoroughly
enjoying.
Who is your favourite person from the
Suvreen cast?
Smriti (Suvreen Guggal), Mohit bhai (RC),
Abhishek (Raathi) and Hitesh (Zorro). Other
than that everybody else too, as I bond well
with everyone here and we all have a great
time together. We are all the SG that is
Suvreen Guggal group!
How does your family feel watching you
become so popular on TV day by day?
As I am the only child, they keep telling me
to come back to Delhi, but yes they are all
very happy with my success on screen.

What is your typical day like: I shoot from
9-9 every day after which we all have dinner
together, and then I head home and sleep!
Food you like to eat: Mughlai food, and
other than that butter chicken is my
favourite dish!
Favorite Bollywood Actor: Hrithik Roshan
and Shah Rukh Khan.
Favorite Bollywood Actress: I don't really
have a favourite Bollywood actress.
When is your birthday: 7th August.
What is your sun-sign: I am a Leo.
