You know someone said that Jalal did it because he felt guilty...no he does not really feel guilty about his actions any longer...he has publicly pardoned them in court...returned them their honour and done all he needs to...yes he hasn't said 'Sorry Jodha' but his actions have more or less done the same...its different that Jodha expects more..and will take longer to forgive...
His removing the shoes bit is the respect he has for other's religious rituals...he's always shown respect towards other's sentiments in that matter...

He is an emperor..he does not need to bow down to anyone - not even his queen (even if he was wrong!) - especially when the loss was personal and the evidences were stacked against her...

She is a queen and she can't take being falsely accused - esp the bit where her brothers & father bore the brunt...she is not going to accept anything short of him falling on his knees

Its going to be a treat to watch these two battle it out..

PS. LMAO @ the getting there jokes 😆

The best thing about Jalal (also abt the real Jalal) is he always learnt from his mistakes and that makes him what he is know today - Akbar-the great😊...did u notice he reacts only when Jodha does something(or it is shown that she did it) to make him feel angry...his responses have always been a counterattack...I luved the end of this scene when Jodha also noticed that he came in putting off the shoes...😳

its not all of a sudden, jalal already had gud qualities in him from the beginning itself;
1) his concern & love about abdul & zaheer

2) his love for his sister, rahim, maan singh(though jodha doesnt believe tht) & kids

3) his respect & gratefulness for BK & MM.

4) he never stopped jodha to follow her religion & cultures, in fact he never uttered a word against them even in critical conditions.

5) his respect towards salima begum

6) his caring attitude towards ruquiya

7) even tough he didnt ask for forgiveness, yet he accepted his mistakes in front of the whole darbar & even in front of his wazir, its not easy for an emperor like jalal.

yes he is indeed feeling guilty, but putting off his shoes was a genuine gesture.

P.S.:- sumone, pointed out jalal will yell at jodha, on MM issue, but thts natural bcoz his respect for MM is very high. just like jodha cant tolerate her father & brothers' insult, similarly jalal cant tolerate anything against MM. i mean jodha is right about MM, but how will jalal know tht MM is wrong???

Jalal removed mojariz becos he didnt want confrontation with Jodha otherwise the same guy was saying that he wants hindus to shed the blood of hindus...No I cant agree that he respected her religion...

He shows respect only when it suits him...
