I fell asleep hugging her. I was in heaven after so long, she still loved me. Her mere touch was enough to bring me back to life. God I missed her so much. I felt her ruffling my hair and snuggled her closer to me, "baby I missed you so much, please promise me you will never leave me like that again, you have no idea how much I love you and our baby. I can't wait for another 7 months when the baby will come" I mumbled holding her tightly. I heard her crying and immediately woke up to her face just streaming with tears. "Baby what's wrong, why are you crying," I asked wiping her tears. "Vvriat I am sorry, I killed the baby." I stared at her not believing what she said, the few minutes of bliss I had was completely shattered, "Manvi, baby, do you even know what you are saying, this is not a funny joke, please tell me it's not true," I said quivering at every word.
Manvi
I blurted it out, I didn't know how else to tell him. He seemed so happy and the lies needed to stop, he needed to know the truth. "Virat, please listen to me before you do anything," I started as I cupped his face. "You were on your death bed, and Karan was the only one that could save you. He refused to even help unless I aborted." That is all I got to say before I felt Virat just go numb. "So you decided to kill the baby to save my life! WHAT THE HECK IS WRONG WITH YOU MANVI, HOW COULD YOU DO THAT!," He yelled as tears streamed down his face. I closed my eyes in shame, I didn't want to tell him like this but I cuoldn't lie to him anymore. "I am sorr," I started but he just interrupted me. "I DON'T WANT TO HEAR IT MANVI. I feel like I don't even know who you are anymore. The Manvi I knew would never have done this. He changed you Manvi. What just because the baby was a rape child you decided that you could abort it and save me. Would you have done the same thing if the baby was ours. What would have happened if my mom aborted her child Manvi, I wouldn't even be here. Did you even think before you made this decision?" I just sat there listening to his entire lecture, his taunts hurt a lot but I knew it was his anger talking, I just stared at him before my worst fear came true. He got up and walked towards the door not saying anything. I pulled him back on the bed to try one more time explaining to him.
Manvi: Virat please listen to me, I was trapped, I didn't have any other choice. I love you Virat, I am nothing without you and I was about to lose you!
Virat looked away, he was still in guilt and couldn't get over the fact that the baby was no more. He wiped his own tears leaving her on the bed and walked towards the door.
Manvi: Thik hai, ok if you really want to leave me, just leave, but please answer one question for me. What would you have done if I was in your situation, you would have let me die and saved our baby? Virat abruptly turned around and finally noticed her state. Tears were streaming down her cheeks, she was so much skinner and looked pale, like she hadn't ate in days. He closed his eyes and banged his hand on the door in frustration that he caused her state. "I HATE YOU MANVI, I HATE YOU SO MUCH" he yelled banging his hand harder on the door as blood streamed from it from the force.
I ran to him seeing the blood and just held him tight, "Virat stop, please stop hurting yourself. Virat I want you to listen to me clearly, you meant too much for me to lose you. I haven't ate or slept for three days now just worried that you would be ok or not. Karan had me in his room after the abortion and wants me to marry him so that I am with him 24 hours. I went through some of the stuff on his computer; he was the one that set up the shooting that you and jiju went through. Virat he is very dangerous, I don't want to go back to him. Please don't make me go back to him. Virat please don't leave me, I don't like Karan, I don't want to be with him. I promise if it's a baby you want, we can still plan for one. I loved the baby as much as you did, it's just I loved you a little more. We can always have another baby but if I lost you I would have died Virat, please try to understand." I said hugging him close to me.
Virat
I calmed down after a while and watched her bandage my hand. I felt so bad, I put her through so much. I can't even believe what I said to her after she herself had made the decision to keep the child herself. Her head was down but I could see her eyes pooling with tears. I gently lifted her face just to have her look down again holding back the tears she had in her eyes. "Manvi, look at me. Don't you even think about going back to him, you are mine Manvi, only mine. My love for you doesn't depend on a baby sweetheart. I am so sorry I didn't understand earlier, I can't even think about what you are going through losing your child. I loved the baby a lot Manvi but you are right, we can have another one but I just want you safe for now. Go ahead and call bhai and bhabhi we are going to Mumbai if that's fine with you. Manvi you said he forced you in his room, he didn't do anything to you again did he?" I asked not wanting to know the answer.
Manvi just clutched me tighter. "Virat, I was in his room but I promise he didn't do anything with me. I am yours and only yours, only you have that right on me. Please ghar chale ab (lets go home). And Mumbai, Virat Karan doesn't even let me out of his room, how do you expect to take me to another city?
I smiled and kissed her forhead. "You are mine, what right does he have to keep my wife in his room, I could care less what he thinks, is it ok if Bhai and Bhabhi cometoo, I want some time alone with you Manvi, but they need a break too." I asked cupping her face. I know that bhai was working hard on the case but we all needed a break from this drama.
Manvi called bhabhi and we headed home to have him just stare at us as we walked in. "You, get in ," he grunted glaring at Manvi. I was fuming with anger now, how dare he talk to my wife like that. "Bua, we are going on our honeymoon, since we are very unwelcome in the house, I think its best me and Manvi get some time away from home," I said clutching her hand. Bua glared at us. "Virat she belongs to Karan now, he wants to marry her and he will marry her, at least he has a mom and dad, a real family that Manvi would marry into," she said glaring at him. "ENOUGH BUA! I HAVE HAD ENOUGH! WHAT HAS VIRAT DONE TO YOU IN THE FIRST PLACE. LEAVE HIM ALONE. VIRAT LETS GO, I AM COMING WITH YOU GUYS, JEEVIKA GO PACK OUR BAGS, I HAVE SOME WORK IN MUMBAI," Bhai screamed scaring all of us. I had never seen him scream before but it had be shivering now. He pulled Manvi into a hug and dragged her out with me. "Virat please don't listen to what she said, I am still your family. Here is the car keys, go ahead and start the car, as soon as Jeevika comes out we leave. And don't worry, if you still want the honeymoon, me and Jeevika will get another room separate from yours like we did in Rishikesh, you can enjoy all you want, just please lock the door" he said giggling making both of us blush. I shook my head , only my brother would be able to make a joke out of this serious situation, on second thoughts a honeymoon didn't seem bad after everything we went through.

If you are confused at how the story is progressing, I promise Karan will be punished, I just wrote too many emotional updates and think it will be best to write one lighter one next time to keep you guys smiling and not crying each time you read my updates.
