Aishwarya Sakhuja approached for Optimystix' next

Star Plus once had a combination of some interesting daily soaps like Hamari Devrani, Tere Mere Sapne in its afternoon slot.

And now we hear that the channel is soon gearing up to revive its afternoon slot by launching some new concepts.


One such concept will be produced by Optimystix Productions, the makers of Saas Bina Sasural and Chhanchaan. According to some reliable sources, we hear, Aishwarya has been shortlisted to play the female lead on the daily soap.

Sources inform that the show will be based on a Gujarati backdrop and Aishwarya who worked with the production house in Saas Bina Sasural has been approached for the lead role. The makers are also in talks with other actors like Soumya Seth, Adaa Khan and Heena Parmar but Aishwarya is shortlisted for the role and if everything goes well the actress will bag the project.
