The spotlights fell upon a girl, wearing a sexy red colour lehenga and the top she was weraing was short so that her belly was showing. She was dancing gracefully according of the beats of the music.
The same beat of the music started again and the spotlight shifted to a young guy, VERY handsome. Girls used to drool on him. He was wearing a white shimmering kurta on a plain white Pyjama. Basically a pathan suit, if you know what that means. Or simply, He was wearing the same kind of dress Ranbir Kapoor wore in this song.

They are Rey and Taani, the Best of friends. Rey was Sharon's younger brother and Taani was Swayam's younger sister. Sharon and Swayam were getting married and it was the Sangeet Night that day.
Rey gracefully took Taani's hand and made her dance with him while Taani tried to resist and moved away from him. Rey perfectly lip synced with the song. They were actually portraying SwaRon's Love Story. It perfectly went with this song.

Rey did his dance steps and stood in front of Taani with a red colour heart shaped balloon with a cry baby face. The crowd, which was their family and friends, cheered louder as they watched the duo dance.

Taani took the balloon from his hands smiling, and then suddenly burst it with her nails and walked away, making Rey run after her.

Rey ran after her and pulled her arm to turn her towards him. He then took out a hundred Rupee note and showed it to her. Taani laughed and took the note and threw it away. The croud burst out with laughter and SwaRon just sat embarrassed.

They again did some energetic steps when Rey suddenly pulled Taani very close to him. They got pulled in a very small eyelock and Taani's heart skipped a beat. They separated soon when the beats of the song changed and they immediately caught the right steps.

They move their hands forward and backward alternatively, making a gorgeous dance step and then Rey clutched Taani's hand and kept it on his heart and did some chest-thrust movements so as to show that his heart was beating. Taani freed herself from him and Rey did some girly steps with his eyes and eyebrows which again made the crowd burst into laughter.

Taani, annoyed, clutched Rey collars, and lip syncing with the song, pushed back Rey and acted as if she is gonna give him a slap.

Rey pulled Taani and grabbed her waist. He bent down and pushed Taani's waist forward and backward according the the beats of the song.

Rey grabbed Taani's waist again, and they did some steps together in pairs, perfectly syncing with the energetic beats of the song.
After completing the steps, Rey and Taani went up to Swayam and Sharon respectively and hugged them, and Swayam slowly pulled Rey's ears and the others laughed. Both Taani and Rey turned the other ways, so that Taani could go to Swayam and Rey to Sharon, but accidently, they hit each other with their heads and they get pulled in a eyelock again. Taani looked away, realizing that it was her part of the song. She pushed Rey away.

Rey picked her up in his arms and ran towards the centre of the hall and put her down.

Taani did a step as if showing how bad looking Rey was, and then kept her hand on a guy's shoulder, who was also handsome, and gave the guy a flirty smile and then looked at Rey and winked.

Rey gave furious expressions to the guy and the guy ran away from there. They completed the signature step of the song.

Rey had something else in mind. He had to tell it to her today. Or else it was going to be never. He looked at her, all happy and dancing with everyone. He smiled and then went up to Taani and shouted so that she could hear him in the loud music. "Taani, mere saath chal! I wanna tell you something." He said. "Kya?" Taani aksed, not able to understand what he wanted to say. Rey grabbed Taani's arms and pulled her away from the crowd and took her to the pool side.
"Kya hai Rey?" Taani aksed him, adjusting her dupatta.
"Umm.. Who Taani.. Mujhe tumhe kuch batna tha."
"Ugh! Baad mein nahi bata sakta tha? We were having so much fun with everyone."
"Woh.. Baat bohot important hai."
"Acha theek hai chal bata.."
"Uh Taani.. Woh, the song on which we danced..?"
"Haan, Dilli Wali Girlfriend? So?"
"So.. Mai yeh kehna chahta tha ki.. The chorus lines of the song are true for me. Tere liye Hi Toh Signal Tod Tad Ke, Aaya Dill Wali Girlfriend chhod chhad ke." Rey said it in a go and then blushed slightly with a smile.
Taani's eyes widened. She couldn't believe her ears. She almost shouted at the top of her voice, "Dilli Wali Girlfriend? Rey? Teri Delhi mein koi GF hai? Tune mujhe bataya nahi? Kitne months hue tum dono ko saath hue? Why the F didn't you tell me? And wait, Does Sharon dii know about it? Or wait, Are you guys planning to mar.." Before Taani could complete what she had to say, Rey pulled her into himself and placed his lips on hers.
It came as a total shock to Taani. She hadn't expected it AT ALL. It took her time to digest what was happening, but Rey kept on kissing her. Taani opened up and kissed him back. She was enjoying it. She hadn't thought about Rey that way, but now she was sure that she had feelings for him, and that was definitely much more than that of a best friend.
Rey pulled away and said, "Ugh! That's the only way to shut your mouth! I'm trying to propose you here but all you are concerned about is my Dilli wali girlfriend who doesn't even exist!"
Taani was completely stunned.
Rey held Taani's shoulder's and said, "Taani.. I Love You! I Wanna spend my entire life with you! Will you marry me?"
Taani jumped up and down in excitement and said, "YES! I will I will I will.. I Love You too Rey! I hadn't what my feelings were towards you but the kiss helped me to. Now I'm sure that I'm in love with you!" She jumped and hugged him tight.
Rey was smiling like a crazy one now. He pulled her into himself, pressing her body close to his and inhaling her intoxicating smell.
"You know, I don't regret the kiss!" Rey said, still in the hug. "Me too.. I Love You!" Taani said. "I Love You too!" Rey replied.
"Ahem!" They heard a fake cough and immediately separated. They saw SwaRon standing there with straight stern faces. They came up to TaaRey and Swayam asked, " Yeh sab kab hua?".
Taani and Rey looked at each other and within a split second, Rey was at Swayam's feet!
"Jeeju.. I love your sister that is my best friend and I don't know when all this happened. I just wanted to tell her that I love her coz I wanna spend my entire life with her. I promise to keep that beautiful smile of hers stuck to her face forever! Please please please let us be one!" Rey said it.. In a Go!
Sharon's mouth was hanging open and she looked at taani. Taani looked at her and started blushing. Swayam pulled Rey up and made him stand up. He slowly looked at Sharon and said, "Looks like we're gonna have another shaadi here soon!" Rey looked at Swayam and Swayam was smiling wide now. Rey hugged Swayam tight and Taani hugged Sharon. Rey pulled apart from Swayam and pulled Taani in a bone crashing hug.
"Ewww not in front of me atleast.." Swayam said and the four them burst into laughter.
