Madhuri Dixit-Nene's father passes away
Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit-Nene lost her father, Shankar Dixit,today morning, after a prolonged illness.
Apparently, the doctors had informed the family yesterday that his health has taken a turn for the worse. Arrangements were made to release Madhuri from Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa, a dance reality show judged by her, and Priyanka Chopra was to fill in for her. It was decided that the latter will give a tribute to Mads by performing to a medley of her popular numbers.
However, the makers shot with Madhuri as she was present at the shoot on Thursday.
A source from the show informs, "We were to shoot today also, but it has been called off keeping in mind Madhuri's loss. Half the portion of the finale episode has already been shot and Madhuri may not be there to shoot for the remaining half."
