It's all about screenplay, how you style two actors, and ultimate, how good the actors are.

Yup. Also Priyanka-Ranbir in Anjaana Anjaani. You watch them in Barfi and you feel completely different about them as a pair.

Rani-Saif were magical in Hum Tum, but totally thanda in Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic.

Kareena-Ajay were sizzling in Omkara, but so awkward and thanda in Satyagraha.

It's all about the script.

they were simply a gem in jwm. jwm wasn't only about kareena. yes there was a time, i even used to shut all saying that shahid WHO? but when i watch jwm today, i feel shahid brilliant in a matured role. aditya!

i remember watching avs show, north american show; ppl were going ga ga over kareena and shahid. even the harshest critics of them, were loving them. i even remember reading posts like after kajol and shah rukh, kareena and shahid could be the IT jodi.

i wonder what if vishaal had kareena and shahid in kaminey. that would have been a back to back hit for both.

kajol - shah rukh - ddlj

madhuri - salman - hakhk

shahid - amrita -vivah and ishq vishq

shahid - kareena

and many more...

I was never a fan of them and plus I used to dislike Kareena way too much at those times to even like them. I only liked their movies overall, not their chemistry. JWM was good, but I liked their performances, didn't feel anything special about their chemistry and good I didn't like their chemistry else I would've been missing them too now!😆

I thought they were the best together in JWM!

I completely agree with Desigal90! The script, director, it's everything together that makes a pair and a film work. I loved Rani and Saif in Hum Tum (perhaps the best they were among the three films they did together), they were okay in TaRa RumPum, and were just so off in Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic. It's the same way I felt about Shahid Kareena. They were okay in Fida, better in 36 Chinatown, but I felt they were the best in JWM.

I doubt those two would come together, but I'd definitely like to see Shahid and Amrita together again. They were great together in all of their films.

I liked them together before JWM too, they were so cute in 36 China Town. Ofcorse they looked their very best in JWM. Would love to see them together again, but its never going to happen
