I have feeling perhaps Salima Begum (Wife of Behrum Khan) poisioned the milk which Ruqaiya Begum drank. Main Reason could be Jalaal loves her son a lot so if Jalaal won't have his own son then her son can be considered as Mughal Emperor later. What do you think?

this could be a possibility had it been any other EK daily soap!

But being a mother and a woman who holds so much respect for Jalal...i doubt she could stoop so low!

But being wife of a person who devoted his life to Mughal Empire and did some much for Jalaal but in return he did not get respect and/or dues he deserved and later killed by MA, she may be thinking her husband was killed by Jalaal and now seeking revenge.

kisi baat ki koi historical value hae k nhi... salima begum was very respectful mughal empress very educated person... this is not a just another daily soap ...

yes she can be...as at the time of greeting the aamerians, Bakshi bano was also shown(as i remember) behind some curtain or so. what was the significance of that scene ? or the scene where she had been humiliated by her husband? Mya be she would want so for the sake of her own child grabbing the throne in future. But I know, this guess is the rarest possibility.😕

may be you didn't see the 5 minute announcement before the show starts "yeh dharavahik kissi bhi etihasikta ka praman nahin deta"...

this is an Ekta Kapor show which by chance has named "Jodhaa Akbar" and has characters name from the same too. But the similarity ends here. Story is by EK and her un-creative soap opera so-called writers...
