The Unbearable Curse of Being Jai Walia

If we look at this man's life objectively I would say god must have been really mad at him when mapping out his destiny or he must have done something really wrong in his previous life to deserve what he is getting. One of the songs had said that his life was a "badd dua" and he has a "bikhri taqdeer" and I feel those words were never more true. I think the best friend this man has ever has in his life has been his loneliness.

So let's take a look at his life:

1. Father leaves family for a second family

2. Mother in misery of the desertion is unable to live for very long

3. He gets into a car accident and KD dies and he is cursed by ND that he will never get any hapiness in life

4. Fiancee leaves him for a career

5. Second fiancee deserts him at the mandap with his foster son

6. Forced to marry someone to save his honor and live with her to make his massi happy

7. Looses his wife and child for an accident he never committed

8. Is forced into a divorce by his wife to save his property in lieu of his belovedd family

9. Drugged and raped by ex-fiancee and blackmailed by her using his child as weapon

10. Wife though she loves him to death has never trustedd him or understood his (that his property would be more imp to him than his child and wife) and has put her own family before him and as punishment for his mistakes has threatened to take his child away from him twice -PR Raaz and now(mai aap se door jake apne bacche ke saath apni duniya banaongi). Did in either circumstance he and his children deserve to be seperated from each other. Bani might not want to be his wife but what is the child's fault that it should not know it's father.

Now the man is living in his own house as a pariah where he has made the future of every individual in that house. So let's see what relationships he has now.

Massi - whom he has gone to the ends of the earth for has done his shradh and still thinks he made a mistake and has accused him as the cause of the loss of his first child and has not made any attempts to heal him on disclosure of the betryal he has gone through.

Jigz - sister whom he has supported all his life is set on destroying and blackmailing him

Wife - granted what she went through is awful and no wife should have to go through that. She does not have to run into his arms but he is the wronged party by her sister who has destroyed his life not once but twice. She can say that she is unable to comprehend everything but to blame him and treat him so coldly is indefensible

Tarun - best friend who has worked hard to destroy the most imp relationship in his life.

Ironically it is Raashi who arugbly knows him the least trusted him more saying that JW would never hurt BW intensionally and there must be something more going on.

So now we have a man who has been raped, and is so guiltridden that he is drowning in it and there is no support in sight. What should such a man do in these circumstances? Who is to blame? Who should make amends? Who should pay the price?

The real sin that JW has done is to get involved with a Kektaa Amma and a Dixit to boot. All hubbies of Ammas have fared badly, poor Sujal nearly got convicted for murder.

Increasingly I am going back to where I stood on Jan 5, 2007 after St. Billo peformed his shradh, that JW should "rot in hell" while all the saints of Zoo should move on with their lives, Vakil babu and Pooch in tow. He would be now rose than he is currently and at least will be deprived of the illusion that he has anyone (except Karuna perhaps) to call his own.

He is held guilty of adultery when he was possibly not even married at the time of the said act. He is accused of betraying the trust of a woman who has never trusted him in the first place.


(What should such a man do in these circumstances?)

Wait for Raashi to die or recover. Then vanish into thin air so that the saints don't have to put up with his poluuting presence.

( Who is to blame?)

JW himslef for messing around with the Dixits.

(Who should make amends?)

Why should anyone make amends- JW is an expendable commodity

(Who should pay the price?)

i was thinking the same... as a result i ended up a bani basher now the days.. i can't help

when he sit there on that dining table where everyone had to wait till he strts like a sinner and stranger , their attittudes towards him... i was feeling how the food is going down his throat...

he came back to the house as a stranger in which all of the habitants had one or the other way enjoyed the protection from him... whatever sin, that is to be hated, but the person... doesn't we feel like asking what really happened before doing shradd... now that man is equal to a deadbody in that house whose shradd had done but not the burial...

he is walking through that floor with a heavy heart of pain and depression from the attitudes of the people around him.... and those who even know the truth kept it till everything is destroyed...

do you think he need to prove innocent jumping into the fire and get back his love? will that love will remain in rest of his love? will that love will be that hearty feelings as before? is there any surity that he will not have to jump into the fire again life if another dixit clan set him up? is love is so unimportant that a person will be denied explaining things once even...

after full redemption of jai walia what bani will do to compensate the pain she and her family induced in his life? what massi will again give birth to jai walia? and do a namakaran? can rano undo the breaking of her di'd mangalsutru as easy as she is doing the job in computer?

the story is taking extreme elements to get claps from audience... but they are showing something that it is possible to do a shradd for a living son... yeah, people will physicall harm by slapping or beating or throwing out and after realisation they can be forgiven, but not this kind of sensational actions...

so i think jai walia should save himself by withdrawing to the old jai walia who should never look down... even to bani he doesn't need to be the same any more... h e had loved unconditionally ... but she doesn't need it... she need a conditional love... i wish he distant himself from others... instead of torturing himself with unnecessary guilt... he already pusnished himself for his mistake... and a mistake doesn't demand one to end his life, right? he need to prove that he is no more a begger for love in life... he can be himself for whatever happened with others...

Wonderful post and some very valid points made. I reckon JW's worst fault is being Kektaa's creation…he will now have to suffer all manner of indignities till the time that KS continues. 🤢
Only thing is I'm not sure why we're having a pity party for Jai – why doesn't he take charge of his life and make his own decisions? What stops him from tossing all the gfn's out of WM and why oh why does he insist on suffering and putting up with all this crap? Surely Raashi's health is not more important than his own self esteem? I shudder to think of the day when he turns into a weepy spineless Mihir or worse another Anurag Basu

Lovely post and so true👏👏. Poor Jai he really is stuck in a whirpool and no way for getting out.

God I really don't care about the rest but after the truth is out and after him saving Bani from those ghoondas, clearing her name from the whole black magic thing, etc we see her being rude to him where she is supposed to talk to him and clear all the misunderstandings.

Ekta and her creatives have completely lost it and they are killing us too with all the noscense they are showing.

Hope they donot show Jai miserable more then he is already and get to his redeemption by showing that nothing at all happened between him and Reptile at all, including him being raped.

Secondly why should Bani feel bad for anything te reptile has done. She too has been wronged by the same sister. I don't think she blames him for the ONS.

But even you can't deny that he is to blame for his actions post ONS, and he has not explained anything to her or asked her forgivness.

Asking forgivness while she is lying unconscious does not count. She has to be conscious and awake.

So being cold and having attitude is understandable.

Farah, in point 10 I am not blaming bani for loving her sisters but I am blaming her for using her unborn child as a method of dishing out punishment to JW for his crimes. She might not have done it intentionally but the effect is that once she found out about PR she wanted to leave JW with the baby and go far away from him thus depriving him of his child, again now she is allowed to hate him for adultary and leave him but again to do the mera baccha and creating her own world with the baby punishment she was going to dole out to him before massu stopped her with the drugging truth.

So once for causing an accident he was going to loose his wife and child (granted she could not live with the man responsible for her mums death but what was the fault of her child to loose its father---i remember the monologue that she had wuth her child where she said I hope you forgive me for denying you your father as I had valid reasons).

She absolutely blames him for the ONS and not for his post ONS actions. Most of it she does not even know. Massi has told her that JW did not have a relationship with Pia. She knows the extent of deciet that Pia is capable of. She is not cold shouldering him for the post ONS action. She is cold shouldering him for ONS and impregnating Pia.

Also I have never seen bani apologizing to JW for anything. Did she apologize to him for not telling him that Pia loved pushkar, did she apologize to him for marrying them in his house, did she apologize to him for putting him through the whole divorce/alimony fiasco.

This post was not to blame bani. This post was to ponder on the life of JW and everything that has gone wrong in it.
