After a quiet dinner,Nupur came back to her room. Gunjan being quiet aware of Nupur's situation,went to her bed directly without discussing anything further.

Nupur silently sat near the window and kept looking towards the sky. All she could think of was Mayank. Slowly some warm tears made its way towards her face. Nupur was blankly staring at the moon . She was heartbroken, she couldn't take in what just happened, she couldn't leave him. It was just today when she understood her feelings and now this was infront of her.

She wanted to tell him everything, what she felt, what she wanted and how she wished he was with him but she was helpless. Tears were continuously gushing down her cheeks making it warm. She had to get over it, she loved him but she knew this would affect his life so she decided to be strong. She got up from bed to get some sleep, she desperately wanted some sleep as it seemed that her head would burst out because of all the thoughts. Taking a deep breath, she lied down on the bed, but she was unable to sleep she kept twisting and turning on the bed and at times blankly staring at the ceiling. Finally, around five in the morning she slept not very soundly but weakly.

Gunjan got up early in the morning seeing her puffy eyes she knew what must have happened the previous night. She sat next to her slowly caressing her head which made Nupur get up from her sleep.

"Di I am sorry."

"Its ok Gunjan aise bhi mujhe uthna hi tha."

Just then Nupur's mother entered the room and sat next to them. Gunjan went away while Nupur sat there quietly.

"Good morning beta."

"Good morning maa."

"Nupur sab theek hai na beta tu itne pale kyu lag rahi hai ?teri tabyat to theek hai na?"

"Maa main bilkul theek hoon bas thodi thak gayi hoon."

Nupur said while lowering her gaze.

"Tab tu aaj college rehne de beta teri sehhat zada zaruri hai samjhi."

Nupur wanted this. She knew she couldn't face him ,she couldn't see him disheartened so she readily agreed with her mother.

"Aur ek kaam karte hai lunch bahar karne challenge theek hai isse tera mood bhi fresh ho jayega."

"Nahi main ghar par hi theek hoon."

Gunjan coming from behind with a tray in her hand cheerfully said

"oh come on kaun sa hum roz roz lunch ke liye bahar jate hai chalo na maza ayega."

"Dekh aj to ye Gunjan bhi jane ke liye tayyar hai."

"Par Maa."

Nupur interrupted.

"Bas kar Nupur chup chap se meri baat maan le samjhi."

Nupur silently nodded her head and moved out of the bed to have a bath.

"Gunjan aur koi baat hai kya?"

Namita (Nupur's mother) asked.

Gunjan not meeting her eyes with her mother replied

"Nahi Maa aur kya ho sakta hai tum tension mat lo. Di bas thori tensed hai exams bhi toh aane wale hai na."

Namita not very convinced left the room.

Gunjan sat there thinking about her sister and joining her hands prayed to God,

"Hey Bhagwan di ke liye jo sahi hai uspe chalne ki Shakti de use. Toothne mat dena use."

Mayank sat there on his bike when Rhea came towards him

"Hi Mayank."

"Hi Rhea."

He said not actually looking towards her as his mind was preoccupied with something else.

"Mayank tum toh mujhe bhool hi gaye ho."

Getting what she was saying he replied

"Acha aisa kyu lagta hai tumhe?"

"Kyu ki ab tumhe meri yaad nahi ati."

She said while frowning.

"Aisa mujhe to bilkul nahi lagti koi example do."

"Sabse bada example to yeh conversation hai."

She said while making an irritated face.

"Kuch samjha nahi main."

He said while giving a confused look.

"Mayank you dint even notice that I am back."

Mayank actually noticing it looked at her from top to toe and hugged her.

"I am sorry Rhea maine dhyaan hi nahi diya itni adat jo hai mujhe tumhari tum nahi bhi hoti ho toh tumhari yaad humesha mere saath rehti hai."

"Bohot acha flirt kar lete ho."

"Thanks."

He said while enjoying the compliment.

"Waise yahaan kyu baithe ho entrance pe?"

"Woh main Nupur ka wait kar raha hoon."

"Huh?"

"Nupur janti toh ho na use ki bhool gayi."

Rhea making a stern face replied

"Haan use kaise nahi janungi main"

Finding the tone strange he immediately asked her

"Matlab?"

Immediately changing her tone shr replied

"Matlab akhir wo tumhari itni achi friend jo ban gayi toh main use kaise nahi janungi."

Smiling a bit he replied

"Par tumse achi friend nahi "

"yea yea I know."

She said while smiling.

While chatting a bit they moved towards the class though Mayank's mind was somewhere else he wanted to meet her desperately.

Coming out of the class he decided to call her just to inquire if she was alright but was interrupted by Rhea.

"Mayank I am really hungry canteen chale?"

"Sure."

Nupur , Gunjan and Namita were out for lunch. Though Gunjan and Namita tried their best to cheer Nupur but she was in no mood to enjoy anything.

Suddenly her phone beeped,she had received a message so she immediately opened it

"Nupur where are you ? Are you alright?"

Nupur took a deep breath and kept the phone aside.

"Di chalo movie dekhte hai?"

"Nahi Gunjan mera zara bhi mood nahi hai."

"Di chalo na maza ayega ."

"Nahi Gunjan mujhe araam karna hai."

"Rehne de Gunjan force mat kar."

Namita said.

"theek hai."

Mayank took out his phone finally and not seeing any reply he decided to call her.

He dialed her number.

Nupur saw her phone ringing but when she saw his number she immediately rejected the call and changed her profile to silent as she knew he would call again.

"Kiska phone hai Nupur?"

"service call tha maa."

Saying this she weakly smiled.

Mayank sat on his bike with tension he decided to dial again but getting no response he frowned and became tensed.

"Nupur ke mere call ka reply na karne ka kya reason ho sakta hai?"

He again dialled but again he got no response, he got up and sat on his bike and moved towards her house.

On reaching there he found no one. This stressed him out even more and said to himself

"Kahan ho Nupur? Phone kyu nahi utha rahi ho?"

He sat on his bike and took a deep breath and moved away.

Just when he was going he saw Nupur ,he felt like stopping her and asking her why she wasn't picking up her call but when he saw Gunjan he stopped. He felt a bit relieved on seeing her fine but he was angry.Nupur's gaze met with him and Mayank immediately gave her a questioning look but Nupur immediately behaved as if she had not seen him and he very well noticed it.

He moved away angrily seeing that she ignored him.
