Sachin Tyagi enters Solhah Singaar, Thodi

He never wanted to do more than one serial at a time but post Tumhari Disha Sachin Tyagi who was till recently doing only Kuch Apne Kuch Paraye suddenly finds himself doing three shows, two dailies and one weekly. Last week he made his entry in Thodi Si Zameen Thoda Sa Aasman in the role of advocate Prashant, an old friend of the Rastogi family which is fighting a court battle with Uma (Smriti Irani) for the mentally challenged Sudhanshu's custody. Sachin has no idea about the role's length but he says it is not a cameo. While he was in talks with producer Jay and Kinnari Mehta for some time for the character of Sumer who comes in Meera's life, Sachin made his dramatic entry in the show and all of a sudden ended up marrying Meera.

"It is a new twist in the story which has surprised viewers. Sumer is a fantastic character with both positive and negative shades," gushes the actor who is on a roll with three different roles in his kitty. "I really didn't want to work so much but I don't have a choice. It's difficult to say 'no' to good roles," he reasons.
