DDLJ was a game changer 👏 Pure gem.

Sooraj Barjatya - HAHK, MPK and Vivaah.
Aditya Chopra was a one time wonder with DDLJ, he hasn't done anything half as amazing since, in writing and direction wise.
Raju Hirani is the best at his stuff - Munna Bhai MBBS and 3Idiots were masterpieces, especially MBBS.
KJO had a similar story to Aditya Chopra, he did a KKHH and KKKG once and could never do anything half as good again. Same with Nikhil Advani. a KHNH to start with and then a series of bad films one after another. Siddharth Anand and Kunal Kohli as well.
I love David Dhawan and Priyadarshan's style of cinema as well, they're not anything great but they've made some wonderful movies, especially Priyadarshan.
Rajkumar Santoshi is great too, Andaaz Apna Apna has to be one of the best comedies I've ever seen, but the problem with him was he didn't direct anything again until a decade later, and his come back film wasn't half as good as his first.

Also he is very shrewd

he only directed 3 films so maybe if he makes one more with SRK ofcourse we can judge him better

Aditya Chopra's writing history is pretty screwed up too. He's gotten it right with Bunty aur Babli, Salaam Namaste, New York and Veer Zaara but also screwed up with Mujhse Dosti Karoge, Laaga Chunri Mein Daag, Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Ek Tha Tiger. He's also written Dhoom 3 so that might give us a better idea. I still think we can judge him, but no DDLJ remake please. 😆
