Preity Zinta to pair up with Sunny Deol after a decade

Preity Zinta's next screen outing will see her paired with Sunny Deol, marking her first collaboration with the actor in the past decade. The pair was last seen together in Hero, which released in 2003.
Preity's last release Ishkq in Paris did not fare well and Bhaiyyaji Super hit too was in cold storage for over a year, reportedly due to lack of financial backing.
But TOI has learnt that the actress has joined the cast of the film and has already started shooting for the film helmed by Neeraj Pathak after returning from her Los Angeles sojourn a few days ago.
"Sunny and Preity have a great equation on screen and they have always kept in touch throughout these years. So when the issues over finance were sorted, Preity was offered the film and she was more than happy to give her dates for the film,"said a source in the unit.
"Their next schedule will begin in Udaipur where both Sunny and Preity will be part of the schedule. The plan is to wrap the film in the next two months," added the source.
The film's first look, released early last year, got a lot of attention, albeit for the wrong reasons. The poster which depicted Sunny lounging on a chair raised eyebrows for its resemblance to a popular image featuring Hollywood star Johnny Depp.
