Such sweet experiences ... Well have been married for 7 years and knew my hubby for abt 5 yrs before we got hitched , well romance definitely exists , though it gets less mushy and I beleive a lot more meaningful as time goes by ...we do our holidays , our dinners and our movies quite often ...

To me it's the small gestures which are more romantic like going out for dinner, even though hubby is dead tired ... Just because I want to check out a new place .. Or me eating his favourite cuisine ie Japanese which frankly I find inedible ...

Great post! Loved reading all the responses...

Being married with 2 kids I can certainly say that marriage is not a bed of roses always,
They say, marriages are made in heaven...that's right but it's maintenance has to be done here on earthšŸ˜†

As far as romance & romantic gestures, they are more natural & happening in the first few years. Then as life happens, romance gets pushed back, unless we make an effort to keep it alive. But that's the fun.

When kids come, things really change. Especially for the girl, because in most cases as mine, I have to deal with 3 boys, my hubby being the biggest attention seeker.šŸ˜† We have to be more careful to keep hubby in top place on our priority list.

Someone in the post had asked about how do we know if we have found the right person.
From my experience I will say this...
Marriage is not only about finding the right person, it's more about being the right person!
