The album begins with ''TU MERE AGAL BAGAL'' sung by the hit machine songster 'Mika Singh' this soundtrack contains funny and lucid lyrics by irshad kamil. It's a fun song with unresistable foot tapping arrangements and a retro touch to it especially the choreography by Bosco-Ceaser is worth noticing where Shahid Kapoor is charismatic. In short, Chart scorcher!

A combination of Atif Aslam and Chinmayee Sripaada makes up for a deadly pair, "MAIN RANG SHARBATON KA" is one such hummable romantic composition that instantly provides a heard before feel (of other Atif songs) and yet instantly catches one's attention, courtesy some magical renditions by both Atif and Chinmayee. The music is traditional and the composition is irresistible and has the capability to enter the top 10 in no time. Melodically intoxicating!

Fifth soundtrack of this album is a tapori style number containing some mediocrehttp://lyrics.Although Nakah Aziz & Neha Kakkar give their best but the song doesn't justify all the way. song is laden with some fast pacing beats but it is not worthy to listen this song in repeat mode.

Here's is another good song by euphonious voice of ''Atif''... ''JANAM JANAM'' is average track Atif Aslam does what he is best at and the end result is an engaging, innocent composition that is easy on the ears!

To conclude, ''phata poster nikhla hero'' just falls short of becoming the biggest soundtrack of 2013, considering the shelf life of the songs. Although it has every element a Bollywood soundtrack should have, two brilliant dance numbers in the form of 'tu mere agal bagal' and 'hey mr. DJ'; two majestic compositions if the form of 'main rang sharbaton ka' and 'mere bina tu'; an item number 'dhating naach'..What pulls it back is the one average sounding compositions, 'janam janam' is not bad but lacks freshness and gives a heard before feeling. All in All, it's a fantastic soundtrack which will rule the charts...
