Radhika and Nupur reached the Sharma house, Radhika JI was wearing a copper colour silk Saari , where Nupur was wearing that same sea-blue colour Saari with the dull sivery sleveless blouse carrying heavy silver danglers in her ears not looking less than an angel, as soon as she step down from her car , people out there stares at her beauty, how much she denied she was looking a complete mesmerizing..and her open hair which were at one side of her shoulder was just adding the beauty to that girl.
Radhika bhushan held the gift and enters with her , while they were on door step she whisper's on her ear,"Mene kaha tha na ki tu aaj bahut sunder lag rahi hain , aaj to sabki nazren meri beti per hain..".
Nupur said glaring at her mother,"Maa...".They entered their house.
Radhika and Nupur were standing at a corner. Radhika was holding a gift box and looked around, searching for someone. Seeing so many people present for the party Nupur thought"My god! Itne log.",and shook her head in disbelief. She was wondering how people have so much time in making up themseleves for a party, how do they took time out of their busy life and get them together at this party, she wondered her mother was saying she is looking beautiful but seeing how people have come up for this party she found herself introvert infront of them , wearing gawdy and sparkling clothes much exposing their body..Oh..C'mon it's Birthday Party not the bachelor one but than her mind said these high class society and their nonsense tactics God..!!!.
While she was in her trance of thoughts, her mom tapped on her shoulder as if asking through actions of hands,"Kahan kho gayi...".She nodded her head negatively...when she saw a lady approached to her mother..both of them hugged each other passing sweetest smile to each other ..her mother turned to her and said,"Beta, inse milo, yeh hai Shilpa Sharma. Inke bete ki birthday party hai." Radhika Bhushan introduced her friend or rather should say best friend Shilpa Sharma to her daughter Nupur. "Namaste aunty!" Nupur greeted, pressed her palms together and formally smiled, still that smile contain a genuine flow , making boys to go crazy..but hey hey guys here It's Shilpa ji so you can say her sweet smiled liked by the lady.. "Namaste beta!", Shilpa replied and smiled back to her.
Radhika Ji said looking here and there"Shilpa, tera beta mera matlab hain birthday boy kahan hain...? Phir se kaam-kaaj mein busy ho gaya kya?", saying teased Shilpa.
Shilpa Ji frowned a bit as she was also very much irritated..with this habbit of her son ...he is so workholic and she doesn't like this habbit of his ,Frowning a bit she replied, "Hoga kahi, phone mein busy,mene bola ki kaam se chutti lo to vo to le li but phone uff..!!!. Rukh, main bulaati hoon." Saying that, she looked around and finally her eyes spotted Suhaani, who was busy with her friends., chatting them showing her dress...
"Soni! Zara yaha aana." Shilpa shouted and called her towards her.. Suhaani came to her mom and saw her Mom's best friend and a young lady with her standing aside,"Hi aunty!", on seeing Radhika Bhushan, said to her with a sweet smile. "Hi beta!", Radhika smilingly wished her.
"Soni Beta ye"" Shilpa Ji was about to say but was interrupted by Suhaani as she said with a mischievousness in her voice, "Haan haan! I know ki yeh Radhika aunty hai aapki best friend kitni baar to mill chuki mein inse Maa..aur haan unki beti Nupur hain, haina?." Nupur stared at girl for a moment infact she also doesn't recognize her mother's friend and here she greeted her so nicely..she nodded.. Giving a small smile to her.,"Pata nahi aur kis kis se Maa milwayegi...!!", she thought as now she was not at all enjoying the company and most profousely she wasn't a girl who wished to be at crowded place but still because for the sake of her Mother she was there..
Just than she noticed a known face, she excused from them and moved towards that person, she couldn't see person's face as it was back facing her, she put her hand on her shoulder...seeing who is standing infront of her..her mouth hung and she exclaimed in joyfull tone,"Gunjii Tu..."."Nupsie...!!".The girl too exclaimed and both te girls hugged each other...Gunjan and Nupur were best friend, both have done their studies from same college, Nupur was surprised as she didn't expected her to be here, she asked her,"Tu yahan..??.".
"Haan vo Dad, Shilpa Aunty ke one of business friend hain isliye aa gayi..but mujhe nahi pata tha..ki tu mujhe yaha milegi...?".Saying Gunjan throw a question towards her to which she replied in a little cold manner,"Yaar, vo Shilpa Aunty k kisi bete ki Birthday Party hain aur Maa aur Aunty friends hain jiske wajah se aaj mujhe Maa yahan khiich ker le aayi..".
"Kya Nupsie tu bhi na, Parties to bilkul bhi enjoy nahi kerti, arey Aunty ne jo kiya bilkul acha kiya, kam se kam thoda to enjoy kregi yahan per...".Saying Gunjan explained her.She said,"Haan..pehle to bore ho rahi thi , but ab tu mil gayi hain na ab nahi rahungi..".She completed the last line with smile on her face...Gunjan said smiling to her,"Vo to hain...".She than distanced a bit to her and looked her from top to bottom...her mouth was huge open she exclaimed,"My My..My Lord...OMG..!! Nupsie tu to aaj bahut hi sunder lag rahi hain bilkul ek princess ki tarah...".
"Kya Gunji tu bhi, Maa ki tarah keh rahi hain , yahan per sab ko dekh aur fir mujhe dekh, in sab ke saamne to bilkull phiki lag rahi hoon..".Saying she pouted.Gunjan said in a little dramatic tone,"Aaye haaye meri jaan , aap nahi jaanti aaj aapne apne kadam ke niche na jaane kitne dilon ko kuchal diya hain, aaj tumhari khoobsoorti ke karan chaand bhi sharma gaya hain...mujhe to darr hain kahin Birthday boy tum per fida na ho jaaye...".She completed the line with little michvieous in her voice and winked to her.
Nupur galred at her angrily and than converted into a little giggle, both friends mungle up each other in chatting while on other side ."Maa!!! Manna padega tumhari choice ko..!!!" Suhaani naughtily said and said to Radhika Ji,"Sorry Aunty No ooffence..But really..!!!"."No no beta not at all!!".Radhika Ji said while Shilpa Ji playfully hit her arm. "Jaa, apne bro ko bulaake leya...ab usse bhi to milwa doon mein...!!"" She told her authoritatively. "Jo hokum matashri." Suhaani keept her hand on her head like obeying the instructiond and said peculiarly and left. Radhika chuckled at her cute tactics and said to Shilpa,,"Suhaani bahut hi pyari bacchi hain..!!!"." "Thanks!", Shilpa replied with a proud smile.
"Waise, tumne tumhare bete ko kuch bataaya hai ki nahi?", Radhika Ji curiously asked with a worried lines on her face "Arey nahi yaar! Tum toh jaanti ho ki agar mene usse bata diya to vo inkaar ker dega...!!! Aur uska gussa mujhe usse bohot darr lagta hai." Shilpa said making a sad puppy face. "Tum bhi naa!", Radhika said and laughed...seeing how much dramatic her friend is. Nupur arrived with Gunjan,suddenly every one went silent at her arrival she confused a bit,distracting them Gunjan greeted Nupur's Mom when Nupur introduced Gunjan to Shilpa Ji,"Aunty ye meri best Friend Gunjan.."."Hello Beta..!!".Shilpa smlied to the girl , she replied,"Hello Aunty..."
"Maa, aapne mujhe bulaaya!" these words collided to Shilpa's eardrums and she turned back. "Aa gaya Mayu!", Shilpa said with motherly affection. "Maa, please, sab ke samne Mayu mat bulaao." Mayank said in annoyance, he never likes his mother calling him Mayu especially infront of outsiders. "Accha nahi bulaayungi, Mayank! Ab Khush", Shilpa smilingly said., He gave a sarcastic smile to her as if saying thank you so much for that but the damaged is already done.
"Apni maa se attitude??? Kese kese log hote hain...he is so weird!", Nupur said to herself in mind and rolled her eyes...creating a judgemental about him , as the way he talks coldly to his mother specially infront of strangers like hers,she didn't liked it, and created her own opinion out it.
Shilpa ji Conitnued,"Anyways, inn se milo. Yeh hai meri saheli Radhika Bhushan, aur woh hai inki beti, Nupur aur Gunajn ko tum jaante ho Prakash Saahab ki beti." Saying she introduced Radhika and her daughter and also Gunjan to Mayank. "Namaste, aunty!", Mayank formally and politely greeted with his palms pressed together and moved forward to touch her feet.Radhika blessed him and handed him his gift. Cutely smiling, he took it and ordered a servant to keep it in the place where all the gifts were kept. "Hi!" he said to Nupur and Gunjan and slightly smiled.Gunjan smiled at him in the same genuine way and said,"Happy Birthday Mayank..".while Nupur faked.Mayank said ,"Thanks", in a low yet soft tone to her.
Nudging Radhika Ji elbow both the ladies moved to other side as if excusing themselves that they had some inportant work , Suhaani came and dragged Gunjan to show her the decorations and discussing domething related to it leaving Mayank and Nupur alone in the awkward situation standing infront of each other having nothing to say.Taking so air in her lungs she said in her soft with a slight of cold tone to him,"Happy Birthday" showing her fake smile to him.He smiled to her and said,"Thank You..!!!".
Silence!!! Again silence,it seems the ,ain motive of Radhika Ji and Shilpa Ji falling down.Sensing nothing from the other side Mayank thought to break the silence and asked,"Aapko aane mein koi takleef to nahi hui.."."Ji nahi , shayad aapko pata nahi hain meri maa aapki maa ki best friend hain mere ilawa vo yahan khoob aati hain isliye mujhe koi dikkat nahi hui..".Completed her sentence with a soft giggle.Mayank realized his sweet stupidity and smiled to her ruffling hid back hair and said,"Oh..!!".Realizing their funny situation they both giggled , the awkwardness not completely vanished but still managed to share some words with each other creating a little comforting zone around them.
Unknown to them they have watched by their mother, Shilpa ji said admiring both of them,"Kisi ki nazar na lage, kitne ache lag rahe hain dono eks saath..!!!".Radhika was admiring the duo seeing how her daughter is smiling to him , slowly showing her genuine smile to him not like previous one giving her fake smile as if she wasn't interested.Seeing her friend in some thought Shilpa Ji shook her by shoulder and asked her raising her brows,"What happened..!!! Kahan kho gayi tum..."."Nahi kahin nahi..",Saying she negatively nodded her head and both of them move from there.
"Vese aap beautiful lag rahi hain.!!!".Mayank said...Nupur thought that he is flirting with her and somewhere her exprressions had given him the clue what she is thinking he quickly said,"Please..!! Kahin aap aisa to nahi soch rahi ki mein aapke saath flirt ker raha hoon..!!!".Nupur said covering her thougths,"Nahi bilkul nahi.."."Vo actually yahan sab party mein jis tarah se aaye hain...un sab ko dekh ker aap sach mein bahut simple aayi hain and seriously you are looking beautifull genuinly...".He said explaining himself."Okay...Thanks By the way..!!".She replied with a small smile on her face .Mayank got a call and he moved aside, than only Gunjan joined her ...both the girls chatted ot their own about the people in this party when Nupur remarked,"Yahan ke log sab kitne over the top lag rahe hain..".Gunjan said,"Haan but tu to mero jaan sabse alag sabse sunder lag rahi hain..".Nupur playfully hit at her arm and said,"Bas bhi ker aur kitni baar bolegi..!!".They giggled and chatted to themseleves.
The screen divided into two halves where Nupur being chatting to her friend facing back to Mayank and Mayank was also engrossed talking someone on his phone facing back to Nupur...
