Soon Mayank being called up by Shilpa Ji to cut the cake ,he reached to his mother and touched her feet taking her blessings, somewhere Nupur sensed that he isn't that too weird she thought,soon he blow off the candles and cut the cake,feeding the first piece to his mother who is very imporatnt person n his life ,follwed by his naughty sister he than took a third piece searching the person to whom he always fed the third piece of his birthdy cake , he asked his mother,"Mom, Sam kahan hain..!!!".His mother shrugged her shoulder's saying she has no idea, he turned to his parents's and asked,"Chachu, chachi Sam kahan reh gaya.."."Beta bas ataa hoga , traffic mein fas gaya hoga..!!!".Samrat's father replied knowing how much these brothers-cum-friend are close to each other.
Soon a boy arrives from his back holding his ear and muttering "sorry..".Mayank said in angry tone,"Kahan reh gaya tha tu....".Samrat aplogised to him,"Sorry dude...vo tere liye gift lene gaya tha...".Mayank scolded him,"Tujhe ache se pata hain na ki mere cake ka third peice tere naam hota hain...".Samrat literally holded his ears and said,"Acha mere baap ab to maaf ker de...kaan pakad ker sorry...", said cutely holding hid ears metling down Mayak's anger..."Chal thik hain...ab muh kholega yaa aise hi khila doon...".Saying Mayank brought a huge piece of cake infront of his mouth ,"Oh haan..." saying he opened his mouth and he put a big piece of cake inside his mouth...
After he fed him the piece he stared at him as if saying him,"Dude you are forgetting something...!!"..Glancing his gestures Samrat said,"Mayank...tu bhi...acha ye le ghoorna band ker aur ye le tera gift...".Handing him a small packet covered with a gift wrap.Taking the gift he said,"Thanks sam...".Samrat plyfully hit his shoulder saying,"Tere mere beech mein thanks kahan se aa gaya..."."Acha mere baap nahi bolta..".Mayank replied to him.
Glancing over the party and people around Samrat said in a soft tone to Mayank so that no one could listen to them," Vese Mayank teri party mein kitni hot chiks aayi hui hain aur tu bhi salaa kam kaatilanaa nahi Lag raha hain..sab to aaj tujh per marr rahi hongi...".
Mayank said in little bit annoyed tone,"Samrat tujhe kitni baar bola hain...mujhe ye dikhawa show kerne waali ladki nahi chahiye...jinhe sirf aur sirf apne aap se matlab ho...".
Samrat:Haan haan fir bhi aaj time pass ke liye...acha ye bata tujhe party mein aisi koi bhi ladki nahi dikhi ya mili jo tujhe laga ho kafi simple hain aur bakiyon ki tarah tujihe impress kerne ke liye dress up hoker nahi aayi hain...
His question , made him to thought about a girl whom he just met...he was about to say,"haan ek .."...when there was announcement Shilpa JI was giving..
"Ladies and gentlemen , May I have your attention please...!!".Shilpa Ji said cheerfully.
"I want to thank all of you to attend my son's birthday party but the surprise is still left to be unveil..".Mayank look amuse as he don't have any idea of it that wondering what's surprise his mother had stored unknown to him."With out taking much time I would like to announce my Son Mayank's engagement with by best friend's Radhika's daughter Nupur Bhushan.
Everyone clapped their hands cheerfully even Samrat and Gunjan were too shock but than slowly a bright smile appears on their face as they were extreme happy for their friends repectively, Radhika Ji was too smiling while Suhaani she was just too happy with that but there were two people standing in the middle of the hall surrounded by the people who were really very very shock , they haven't thought that this party would bring such a steep turn in their life, this was certainly not expected, they hadn't the slightest idea of it that the morning they would woke up till evening they would be engaged without their knowledge.Yes..!!! They were Mayank and Nupur, both were too dumb and numb to react to what's happening around them, it was like a thunder that had broken onto them and they were too week to even cried out louder of it.
Radhika Ji and Shilpa Ji called both of them to the stage,Nupur came out of her thoughts when she felt a hand on her shoulder and her legs been dragged towards the stage, Gunjan was taking her to the stage and whidpered,"Wow..!!! Nupsie I am so happy..It's really a great surprise for you...You are getting enagaged...smile dear..!!!"
Hearing the word smile her mind stroke and realization struck that she can't even back out from this engagement, it's now about her mother prestige, she has to do it,so many people are standing here she has been centre of everyone's eyes,she hasn't any option left to accept rather than to back out...she has to get enagged.
O the other hand, Samrat dragged Mayank to the stage sensing his friend-cum brother to be lost he shook him a little and said,"Dude..!! aise blank expression mat de thoda to smile ker...!!".Mayank came out of his trance and looked around himself gathering his mind to analyse what's happening..
"I am getting engagged..!!! really is this happening for real..!! Mayank dude...what's all this..!!!".His mind was totally occupied when he felt a little shake on his shoulder he came out from his trance of thoughts seeing his mother was flashing a big smile to him handing him ring gesturing him to move forward and do the ceremony,he took the ring,but his mind ,his body was complete blank he don't know what he is doing,this was very sudden and very shocking for him , he glanced to his mother once seeing her glowy face her happiness which was shining from her eyes he step forward to put the ring on the unknown girl's finger whom he knew hardly by five minutes.
Nupur was jolted a bit when her mother made her to move forward raising her hands a bit and keeping it on strange skin,she realized that it's him who is going to put a ring on her finger,him her fiancee whom she knew just five minutes before,this evening would take such a sharp turn was actually quite bewilder for her,she grasp some air to realize that all that his happening is for real,she is actually being engagged...she glanced at his expression and found mirror to her's a thought appears in her mind,"Does he know about the enagagement or it was new like me".
Within a few seconds a diamond ring inserted into her left hand ring finger, indicating her that now she belongs to someone...she is someone's fiancee,a person has a right on her...her chain of thoughts broken when Radhika Ji handed over ring to her gesturing her to complete the ceremony from her side so that they now be fully-fleged enagged...for the sake of her mother,maintaining her prestige not insulting her and her family name infront of all she agreed to it and slid down the ring in his hand...
There was a huge applaud,celeberating the enagagement of one the most bachelor hunk of the town Mayank Sharma,indeed his fiancee is also mesmerizing beauty, looking a perfect couple but sometime what we see is not the reality , reality is hidden behind the mask of emotions .Here the situation of Mayank and Nupur was also like this.They were smiling lightly but the smile which was plastered on their face was fake , complete fake instead flood of emotions , questions were roaming inside them asking to their mother why did they done so..!!! why..? .They knew they will get the answer to this question but not know not infront of all but sooner or later they will and they are waiting for it.
