Kumud and Pramad got married in uncertain circumstances, but when Kumud was faced with Pramad's truth, she was left shattered. The presence of Kalika never went down too well with Kumud.

kumud-from-saraswatichandraKumud confronted Kalika because she provided Pramad with alcohol, while Kumud has been trying to get him rid of his alcohol habit. In a particular conversation with Pramad, Kumud found out that when no one stood beside Pramad, it was Kalika who supported him and stood by his side. However, Pramad is unaware of Kalika's true intentions.

Kumud reveals it to Saraswatichandra that Kalika is the reason behind Pramad's immoral behaviour. Kalika has also been trying to create a rift between Pramad and Kumud. She keeps telling Pramad things against Kumud. Right now also, Kalika is trying to prove that Kumud is getting closer to Naveenchandra.

On the other hand, Kalika has challenged Kumud that she will prove that she resides in Pramad's heart. Kumud is trying to bridge the distance between Pramad and Buddhidhan as well. Will Pramad be able to see the good in her?
