Suggestions;

thread nature: let us keep it open to all. Kind of a forum discussion. Advantages; a) We can invite other friends and thereby expand the discussion base. Our activity is harmless and no reason to keep it exclusive IMO. b) We may attract some chance observer with entirely new set of inputs. This should enrich the conversation. c) as we are open to defects- criticism, no worry about bashing or sort. Disagreements are welcome.
Name- in view of 1 b) keep name more noticeable- some thing like, "Meri Zaat Zarra e Benishan: a revisit." Or something alike. Please suggest.
Arshi, Please set some general rules and set them in introduction post. Later we may also add participants names.
In earlier thread, we used to set you tube link of each episodes in a post and then onwards discussion...so can one of us take initiative of finding a good quality, IF complying link and set them here each week?
As a start, I request you to see first two episodes together. It serves good introduction to major characters I think...there are 20 episodes, each 40 minutes. So catching up at individual convenience should not be a problem, IMO.
Friends, Please be patient. Serial is slightly slow initially imo, it should grow subsequently. Some cautions- a) please don't expect dazzle and extravagance of sets etc.- though you all are connoisseurs, still venturing this comment- indulge presumptive me.😳😛. b) though Urdu is not difficult to understand, some key words in key scenes should pop important query. Ask, inquire and share them immediately please. c) plot comparison with SC is a fun, as well as instructive about how two different ways of creativity work. Though it shell come after some episodes, IMO.
In the end, as this was an individual suggestion, apology in advance if it fails to deliver. But still please continue to participate, aim is conversation as well a share.😊

Some more suggestions-

As per last experience, threads get quickly back paged here. Direct search is cumbersome. So access through 'My post" link is much easier.
Invite as many friends as possible. Expansion should surely lead to enrichment.
Should not we inform some more forum friends-
Do post as and when you find time. As well, since we are attempting one episode per week, it should not encumber our present watch or any intended watch IMO.
Use like button always. It should inform 'visit and view' to others.
More suggestions?

Re the name of the serial, I was curious about the meaning and found this explanation which is Terribly Sad...

An open discussion post for the show is ideal, however since this is a discussion on how to get started, that's why I left it as by invitation .

Once we are ready to start , we can close this, and start a thread exclusively for the show, and make it open.

And by all means, we should share it with as many forum friends as we want!

I am sure the show will turn out to be great.

Will be happy to make some rules, though the good experience of CB says, they may not be required

In fact I fear too many rules may just frighten people from participating

Once we set the tone of the thread and follow a certain code of conduct, others are quick to catch on.

But, if you all feel that a code of conduct will be reqd, can do

Happy, haven't yet seen the episode, but the translation would be something like I am insignificant and would leave no mark, though I am sure there will be a more poetic interpretation of this.

Happy...Are these better quality than what you saw?

EDIT: suggest the group uses one online reference...from the one which is better quality...It will help that we all view the same video source (no different sources where edits made by uploader may put some out of sync)...This will also help for referencing when discussing...

I saw the blog.

All others, if possible avoid spoilers. In initial episodes, Serial has good suspense as to what has happened to Saba...brilliant construction from that angle. But I think, since it is already a done' serial, this would be inevitable. Never mind, it has much more to offer IMO.

That said, blog has many errors. You should see over the course...

Foremost is title. The explanation given to me was completely different:

Meri Zaat= My Self,

Zarra 'e'= piece or part 'of'

Benishaan= nishaan is meant here as a 'mark' so Benishaan means without any blemish/ pure.

So on the whole she is asserting- "I am part of pure" without any blemish. The connotation has a positive assertion- not as any explanation...Let some one corroborate over the course...

Yes Hgg,

These are the links I have in i pad's you tube application. nice streaming and good quality. But Happy had complained about slow upload ( i'd sent her the link)...Here, can we use single episode links? To discuss per episode...

p.s. We have seen it together on internet...and wife has given some extra ordinary insight...she was fan of both Arfeen and Haidar. But Saba surpassed both IMO.😆
