Manickam's son-in-law Dhanapal comes with a person who wants to buy the house. Manickam is very happy and the seller gives a suitcase full of money. Manickam ses the money and feels a sense of emotion. He tells the seller that when his family first came to the house, they had a lot of good luck. He wishes the seller's family to have the same. The seller however says he is not going to live in the house but bought it as an investment and that Manickam and his family can continue to live in the house and pay rent. Manickam's family is very grateful and Manickam thanks the seller and praises him, saying he only wants to be happy in his old age. Manickam hands the money (now he is forever indebted to Vani ... 😃) to Mekala and tells her to give this to those whom he owe money first.

Dhanapal goes outside with the seller, thanking him for pretending to buy the house and reminds him to transfer the house to his name. He knows if they can't live in this house, Mekala will be upset and something might happen to Manickam. The seller says no problem and leaves while Dhanapal looks at Manickam with an evil look, watching Manickam emotionally look at his house.

At Vani Rani house, Rani is in the kitchen boiling milk. She is thinking about something and does not notice that the milk is overflowing. Swami reminds her while Thenu tells that she must be thinking about Selvi. Rani asks her to keep quiet 😛 but admits that it is true. Thenu says Rani had been like this for sometime and as a result the food always has a burning smell in the house. 😆

Rani says they haven't invited Selvi and Rajesh for maru veetu to their house for so long and she expresses her wish to do so. They should have invited them the day after the wedding and cooked for them. She says she is worried that Selvi's in-laws will say something. She says she wonders whether something is wrong with Selvi after Vani's meeting and her sad face that day. Over the phone, Selvi says she is fine but Rani feels that this might not be true and says that worrying about Selvi is her destiny. Swami reminds her that Selvi has chosen this life and she must face the difficulties.

Just then Bhoomi comes and asks what difficulty. Rani and Swami keep changing the topic but Thenu says Rani wants to prepare a feast for Selvi and they are planning how to do it. Rani tells her to keep quiet but says she wishes so. Immediately Bhoomi agrees to bring Selvi here but Rani doesn't want that as she is worried about Selvi's in-laws scolding Bhoomi and says she can't tolerate that. But Bhoomi says it is his duty to bring her after chasing her out of the house and says he will listen to all the scoldings gladly and maybe even Rajesh's father will change like he did. 😕😕😕 However, Rani and Swami are still not happy with this and Bhoomi suggests talking over the phone. All of them agree and are happy.

Rajesh goes to Selvi and gives her the phone saying her periyappa is on the line. Selvi is happy and answers the call. Bhoomi talks with a lot of paasam to her 😆 and apologises for his behaviour and says he wanted to change the problem he started. Selvi tells him it's okay and that she is happy now about Bhoomi accepting her. Bhoomi tells her that Rani is planning for her a feast and Selvi says she will come with the permission of her father-in-law. 😲😲😲 (Selvi will never change ) Bhoomi agrees and puts down the phone.

Selvi tells Rajesh about the feast and Rajesh says they should go but is surprised that Selvi wants Kali's consent and hates the idea. 👏👏👏 But Selvi says it's not right to go against Kali or going without his permission and she goes to ask him. (pattal thaan puriyum endru solvaanga. itthanai murai pattalum intha Selvikku puriyalaye...😭😭😭)

On the rooftop Shenba and Kali sitting together happily and Selvi comes and tells him that her mother is planning a feast and her periyappa called her. As expected Kali tells her not to go as her periyappa is the one who pushed them out of the house and talked so much. He says he is the one who is giving them food and a home and forbids them to beg for food there. Sunthari scolds Kali for forbidding them to go 👏👏👏 and says Bhoomi already apologised but Kali says only if Bhoomi falls on his feet then he would even drive Selvi there in his own auto. Sunthari says he should be ashamed that he wants a far superior man to fall on his feet and says if that is so then they need no go for the feast and brings them away.

Meanwhile at Vani Rani home, all are happily sitting down and waiting. Just then Vani arrives home. Rani in happiness tells her that there is good news and Swami tells her about the feast for Selvi. Vani however is disappointed and tells Bhoomi that they have a lot of problems with us and for sure they will never allow Selvi to come but Bhoomi insists that whatever problems they have, they will not stop Selvi from coming. She tells Bhoomi can think of this in a logical way but Kali only resorts to violence from young and won't think like him. Just then the phone rings and it is from Selvi.

Selvi tells Bhoomi that she has exams to study for 😕 (ithula supporting mama as well 😆) and therefore will not be able to attend the feast. Bhoomi keeps silent and later asks if Kali didn't allow them. 👍🏼 (Nalla velai neenga ketteenga...!) Selvi cries a bit and says she doesn't know why Kali is behaving like this. Bhoomi consoles and tells her never mind and hangs up.

Rani and Swami sadly ask if Selvi is not coming and remain silent. 😭

Vani says that they should have expected this from the beginning. Bhoomi says Rani was very eager about this and if he doesn't fulfil her wish, then he has no reason to be there. He says they should have brought the feast there without anyone knowing. 😲 Vani says this is a foolish thing to do but Bhoomi says he is willing to let go of his anger and be foolish and tells Rani to get the feast ready and leaves. Rani and Swami are surprised while Vani smiles. 😛 (Ippo Bhoomi ippadi aayitare oru santhoshamaa?)
