Asad : Miss kardaa main tainu, ditch kardi tu mainu.
Zoe : Lagtaa hai cute tu badaa , karta hai jab nakhra, my jigar da tukdaa!😳
In all these months of QH viewing , like you, even i have loved, hated and swallowed tracks. But never , for a single episode , i have disliked AsYa or lost interest in them. Reason? They are so frickin' close to real life - they are actually a REAL couple , no matter how opaque an obtuse are their individual personalities. I see them doing all that i see real-life opposite -but-much-in-love-couples doing. You are this! You are that! You left the towel in the hall! You are a horrid cook! Get a hair cut! Increase the length of your skirts! I don't like your friends. I don't like your way of eating. Leave me alone. Get lost... ( long soulmate recall pause )... I am sorry and I am kaaju-badaam about you! Now, come , running back into my arms because I LOVE YOU!
That's how the soulmates are that i have seen in real life and that is why i adore AsYa in all their shades - because they are so close to them. Today's episode showed them in all their shades. Asad's anger on Zoe's irresponsible behaviour. Zoe's fear of Asad's anger and slight hurt that he didn't mother-hen her and ask her if she was okay. Momentary passionate anger arising out of individual stubborn personalities - He is wrong. She is wrong. When will she grow up? When will he stop howling at me? She is always like this. He is always like this. I am not gonna say sorry. Neither am i!... Humph!... Humph!
Heat. Boil. Steam. Evaporate... ( soulmate waaali yaaddasht comes running back)... shucks! Where is she ? I cannot stay mad at her!... Dayumn! Where is he? Let me only say sorry and cut the crap...Doors open... Mental : Baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!... Coming, Baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The graph from the 'SORRY' to the passionate yet subtly romantic hug (where i think Zoe was trying to suffocate Asad to death and Asad was looking for a good place on her neck to stab his teeth in ) was FANTASTIC. Clean screenplay and fab job by the actors. From a hesitant 'sorry' to a genuine 'its ok' to small smiles resulting in poetry and Zoe's gregarious offer to cook for him - to Asad's u-turn to escape her cooking - to Zoe pulling him into her arms and Asad embracing her back .
What i loved about the pre-climax of the episode is that Zoe is not shy of just pouncing on Asad like a kitten and hug him ( i love how she lifts her heels and stands on her toes to hug Asad - i find it adorable and beautiful ) - and its not a shy feminine hug. Its a hug of intense possession and it shows. She has been hugging him like that ever since she threatened to run away from Nikaah and Asad got furious. She doesn't embrace Asad like regular TV heroines who are weighed down by shyness. She hugs him as though she wants to merge into him. That is where her intensity shows and i find it worth gorging upon.
Asad's response hug? I guess you are happy now... he was not thanking stars for a change. He was trying to bury his face in her neck , mistaking it to be a well.
Rajveer? I don't need to say anything . Asad's face says it all and Zoe better put that hand into Dettol water. 😆
P.S- Ayaan RED ALERT. Don't back off . Humzie needs immediate help and not just physical - psychological and emotional. Be with her , even if its against her wishes.
