Hit - I don't know why, but Kumud and Kalika's confrontations are my favorite parts of the show after the Samud scenes (which there aren't many of these days). I had expected Pramad to be the villain but he's turned out to be a pretty big disappointment - he has a sharp mind but most of the time he's too drunk to actually add anything substantial to the story line. Where he falls short, Kalika picks up the slack. She's a much better vamp than Gumaan, simply because her character actually makes sense - she's insecure and want to bring the down the
bahu rani who always has her nose in the air and thinks she owns the place (which she technically does, but whatever)
Hit - Coming to Kumud, I might be in the minority, but I love her and high and mighty attitude towards Kalika. She's a girl on a mission and she's not going to let the likes of Kalika get in her way. No matter how much I dislike the end goal of this mission, I see jhalaks of the Kumud from the beginning of the show, who was determined to finish what she sets her mind to.
Hit - This one has nothing to do with the story, but I'm so glad that Jenny's wardrobe and make-up person finally realized that something was wrong. She's looking so pretty these days, especially in that braid, as she did in the did in the beginning of the show.
Miss - I don't like that all traces of Samud seemed to have vanished from the show, but it was something I had been prepared for. Most of the original SC novel takes place in Kumud's susraal, where she obviously is going to be focused on her husband rather than her ex. And Saras has said himself that he's given his soul to God in exchange for Kumud's happiness. The one reservation I have with this - Saras can join Kumud on her mission, I have no problem with that, but where's his screen space? I felt like he was only in the episode for like 2 minutes today. I understand the focus is on Kumud's marriage, but I think our hero needs a little attention too.
