Rey, Taani, Swayam and Sharon have come to meet Khushi at the orphanage. They are greeted by the incharge there.

"Hello kids. What brings you here?" she asks.

"Hello Granny. I'm Rey and these are my friends. Hum Khushi se milne aaye hai. Vo kaha hai?" replied Rey.

"Toh tum ho Rey. Come in beta, bahar kyun khade ho" Granny leads all of them to a hall.

"Aap mujhe kaise jaanti ho?" asked Rey.

"Khushi tumhare baare mein bohot baate karti rehti hai. Jabse tum usse mile ho tabse vo bohot hi bubbly ho gayi hai warna pehle toh humesha udaas rehti thi. Thank you beta for making her happy" she said with teary eyes.

"Granny aap mujhe beta bol rahi ho aur thank bhi kar rahi ho! Mein dono mein se kuch ek hi accept kar sakta hun!" said Rey and smiled making everyone smile.

"Pehle udaas rehti thi matlab?" asked Rey thinking over what Granny said.

"Do saal pehle uske parents ek car accident mein marr gaye. Tabse vo humare saath rehti hai. Pehle vo kisise bhi baat nahi karti thi. Humesha apne room mein rehti thi. But over a few days vo bohot happy rehne lagi hai. Jab bhi school se aati hai bohot baate karti hai. No one will believe ki yeh wahi Khushi hai! All thanks to you beta" said Granny.

"Again thanks Granny?" said Rey and made a fake angry pout.

"Bhool gayi! Waise yeh sab tumhare friends hai? Inke baare mein meine kabhi kuch suna nahi hai Khushi se" said Granny looking towards Taani, Swayam and Sharon.

"Hum Khushi se aaj hi mile hai Granny" said Taani.

"Aaj hi mile aur yaha aa gaye" said Granny.

"Abh voh hai hi itni cute ki usse milne aa gaye" said Taani.

"Tum sab ko thodi der rukna hoga. Khushi abhi so rahi hai. She'll come down in half an hour." informed Granny.

"No problem Granny. We'll wait!" said Rey.

"Swayam chalo garden mein chalte hai" said Sharon almost dragging him out.

"Yeh Sharon ko kya ho gaya!" wondered Rey.

"Usse shayad Swayam ke saath kuch time spend karna ho" said Taani.

"Let them enjoy" said Rey.

"Rey?" said Taani gaining his attention.

"Haan bolo" he replied looking at her.

"Tum ab tak single kyun ho? I mean tumhe nahi lagta ki tumhari bhi koi girlfriend ho?" she asked him.

"Mein toh bas tumhara wait kar raha tha sweetheart!" replied Rey winking at her.

"Rey! I was serious!" she snapped back.

"Sorry. I'm single because mujhe nahi lagta ki koi bhi ladki mere liye bani hai." he said.

"What nonsense Rey!" exclaimed Taani.

"No I'm serious. Moreover I don't want a girlfriend" he said.

"What!" she exclaimed.

"Sentence complete toh karne de! I don't want a girlfriend but I want a girl who will be more than my friend. One who will understand me. One who will love me for who I am and not for what I look!" he said.

"What if yeh ladki tumhare saamne hi ho aur tumne pehchani na ho?" asked Sharon coming into the hall.

Taani felt as if Sharon purposely said that dialogue indicating her as she was standing right in front of Rey. She felt a strange feeling.

"Aa gayi?" said Rey.

"Tumhara matlab kya hai?" asked Sharon.

Before Rey could answer he heard Khushi calling him.

"Rey bhaiyya!" she called him and came running towards him.

"Nini puri ho gayi?" he asked her.

"Bhaiyya aap apne friends ko bhi lekar aa gaye" said Khushi.

"Khushi, hum Rey ke toh friends hai hi, but kya ab se tumhare bhi friends ho sakte hai?" asked Taani with a sweet smile.

"But mujhe toh aapke names hi nahi pata" she said making a cute pout.

"Itni si baat hai. Yeh hai Swayam, yeh Sharon aur yeh Taani" said Rey and introduced them.

"Abh toh mere aur bhi friends ban gaye, yey!" saying this she starts jumping on her place.

"Khushi, guests ke saamne aise behave karte hai kya!" warned Granny coming into the hall.

"Granny yeh Khushi ke friends hai. Yeh Swayam bhaiyya, yeh Sharon didi, yeh Taani didi aur yeh mere pyaare se Rey bhaiyya" she said and hugged him.

"Granny, hum Khushi ko bahar ghumane leke jaye?" Rey asked for permission.

"Sure. But I want her here by 8!" she said.

Rey agreed and they left.

"Rey bhaiyya hum kaha ja rahe hai?" asked Khushi.

"Haan Rey, hum ja kaha rahe hai?" asked Taani.

"Fair!" he replied back.

"Wow! Wahan pe bohot saari rides hogi na?" asked Khushi.

"Yes sweetheart!" said Rey.

Taani felt a bit jealous when he called her 'Sweetheart'. Though Khushi was just a five year old kid, Taani didn't like when Rey used the word 'Sweetheart' for someone else. But why did she feel jealous? She herself had no answer to it.

"Kya hua Taani? Are you afraid of rides?" asked Rey breaking her thoughts.

"Somewhat" said Taani and gave a nervous smile.

"Taani didi, don't be scared. Rey bhaiyya hai na!" said Khushi.

"What!" said Rey and applied urgent breaks and stopped the car.

"Gaadi kyu roki?" asked Khushi innocently.

"Tum abhi kya boli?" asked Rey.

"Meine kaha ki gaadi kyun roki?'" replied Khushi.

"Uske pehle!" snapped Rey.

"Rey chill. Voh bachchi hai!" said Sharon.

"Haan but.." Rey tried arguing but Khushi cut him and pleaded him to start driving.

The next 15-20 minutes nobody spoke to each other. They reached the place where the fair was held.

All of them got down and started walking in.
