what is wrong with this serial?!!!

why is shlok's mother behaving like this? yest she cleaned her son's shoes with her saree , today she tells her daughter in law to be submissive to her husband !! is she a woman or not?!

this is going to be interesting. mrs mother is seriously very strict towards girls.

you know something, thats the whole point, the characterization of his mother like that. its showing how there are lots of people in society like that. im guessing their is a point by showing her like that. im betting astha will come along and change things up. not everyone is gonna be perfect. they are showing different types of social thinking, the good and bad. its obvious that its something that needs to be changed gradually along with the story and because character interaction. im sure we will see strong women. but lets face it thats how indian society is. its outrages but nothing surprising. cant wait until his mum gets set in her place and the rules start changing. its interesting to me, the way she is, even though she her self is a women. wonder why she is like that
