Enigma do u really like DD performance ...I still don't find anything remarkable. Are else my expectations from these contestants are very high? For me it's a shame how Shaan and DD performed ...

I was looking for your (zephy's) reviews for Sunday episode, when I found this. Thanks for the reviews.
he he sorry every1 was technically so screwed up that didn't want to make a post on this one..and choreo were really simple for most of them..so i figured for once lets just ocncentrate on strengths.. 😆
Actually I watched Sunday's episode only to see Lauren doing Bharatnatyam. She was not great as understandable. but for a western style dancer, she looked pretty good, for my layman eyes.
Apart from dancing, I don't know how they do this, but Lauren is smiling and thanking at every Hindi comment. may be Puneet translates to her immediately, otherwise I would be really irritated smiling to everything that I don't understand. So since childhood i hv seen russians and dancers from the west come here and join our dance classes...and i know it is extremely difficult to learn classical dance forms..a simple half sitting posture..getting that rt..no matter how flexible and awesome u r in western forms is in itself difficult..moreover the choreo shud hv the knowledge of the exact posture for the student to learn..so ya i said that yesterday itself..that she wont be able to pull it off technically...puneet was equally bad...However, hvg seen various dancers specially the ballet folks who used to come..i know the grace that they bring to the dance..so in lauren's case i was all ready to judge her and observe her on these parameters only..and she faired decent..Plus of all contestants, this lady alone had a challenge..baki sab ki themes to comedy thi...koi sar pair nahi...princess ban jaao, tapoori ban jaao, madhuri ban jaao 😆..even mujra..its easy..much easier..but thats fine..she is a 'trained' dancer so higher the ocmplexity level..
Manish and Kapil camaraderie was the funniest, mostly Kapil. His international stunt OMG. I literally rofled. The best part of their humor is that it doesn't look rehearsed or scripted, rather impromptu. I used to think that this is a dance show, and dance should the focus. But nowadays, I don't mind watching just Manish and Kapil plus Lauren's dance. Actually I skipped everything else on Sunday's episode.i so agree on the anchors...these guys hv made this show as tolerable as it cud be..inspite of so much negativity from every stakeholder of this show..

I agree on Puneet. He didn't do great either. I guess he is not trained in Bharatnatyam. This made me think if Lauren had been under Bharatnatyam trained choreographer, she would have done better than this. She has always been a dancer, and she has already learned indian styling in her moves. So I think she would have pulled it well.
Tushar is trained in a classical dance form, right?
