Raj character sketch

Raj's character sketch makes no sense to me. The actor plays Raj is attractive.
But the character was married for 10 years and he only started being civil to his wife when he thought she was dying. He falls in love with her after a divorce filing. He treats her like a little kid.

Digressing, I don't understand the whole Raj doing make up. Was I supposed to swoon? The writers think a guy doing your make up is attractive? Do the writers think this guy is a hero? I guess he never got abusive.

Lol I agree the make up thing is a little strange, at least for me.

i never see the character by actors ,personality is secondary important ,
for ex - i never like Gurmeet choudary but i like him as Yash in PV1

but i dont find anything interesting in the role of Raj , first he hurt sarita for his Love now very suddenly forget his core love for Divya..in this case the character has no sense at all

I think the whole show is abt how Raj will fall in love with sarita n how the start their life again. I agree the show being under scanner They are rushing with the confession. I dont under stand qhats the big deal in it
Anyways coming to ur post I agree the 10 years gap was the biggest creative blunder by the CVs. 2 3 years gap would have been ok. Still in these 10 years Raj never loved sarita because he was in the self made cocoon. Divya totally devastated him from a theatre directer he became a Raddi bechney. That shows how he dint care abt any thing anymore. But now that cocoon had slowly started to break he is slowly moving back to hi old life, he is smiling he is laughing. And he has also started to realise that if one hand God snatched divya on another side a beautiful life with sarita was waitong but he toally wasted that chance. And mind you he hasnt still fallen in love with her.
And coming to the make up part, most of the make up artist in glamour industry are males, bt wen the same thing is done by the hero of a fil or show its so gayish. I dont understand y we always want the hero to be all macho n cating the flying duppatas n flyong heriones :/

Raj treatin sarita as a kid maybe coz he is too much into guilt for wat he did for 10 years. And about love versus how it turns out to be, I believe there has been a lot of changes in the storyline, and I hate this thing abt the Indian television no matter what the show is abt, it has to bow down infront of the Trps. And this is totally killing the creativity of the Indian shows

I think you have not watched this from the start as when Raj was in college he used to be involved in drama and so that is how he learned to do make-up and stuff and he did it for Divya and when Divya left him 10 years ago he completely stopped.And now he is starting to do it on Sarita and wow that's great and it shows that Raj is beginning to have a soft corner for her.Way to go Raj 👍🏼😃

I don't like the Raj character of that 10 years, which seems to me huge!!!
