Fundraising Ideas

Hey Guys,

Hows it going?? Well I need some fundraising ideas that we can do at school to raise money for some events .. like bake sales, car washes, raffles and stuff.. anyone got anything else??

Hmm... Swati, I think raffle works the best but some other long term fundraising ideas include a film fest or a kind of potluck or some kind of stage show or play.. OF course these fundraisers need immense preparation ahead of time but according to my experience they work very well!

Well, you can do it two ways... One kind of International potluck and one National. But generally it's kind of supper where people come and buy tickets and they are served with food and then you can some music and generally make it a good night for them. International potluck of course has international dishes and national one just has some American food. It's a good idea along with the ticket money, you can also set up some jars and have people donate money or something. It's fun! 😊

well, at my school, since it's a private school and we have to wear uniforms, we have a no uniform day, where whoever doesn't want to wear uniform pays $1. We also have sisterhood night where all the girls stay afterschool for an hour and we play games and someone gives a speech and eat and everyone has to pay like $ 4 or 5. We have bakesales like every Friday and on Fridays, we also sell donuts and coffee for $1 in the morning. We also have a school fundraising dinner every year. We sell tickets to each family for like $100 each (u can always change the price to like $20 or $10 if u want to) and we have a dinner and ppl donate to the school ( i think it's a good idea, b/c last time we made $1,000,000). We also had an art fair one year where students did some sort of artwork and we auctioned them off for like $.50 and if they were really good, they'd probably go to like $2 or something. That's all i can think of right now, but if i come up with something else, i'll tell ya 😃
