20 hours of flying time, 3 hour stoppage in London and finally Viren and Jeevika were back home! It had been a while since Viren had come back home, being busy settling his career overseas. He was excited about finally being home, even though it wasn't technically home. His wife was still upset, and he hated seeing her like this. She was right about everything, but Viren needed to figure out how to make her understand that he indeed was really thankful for her. Viren and Jeevika walked out the airport both of them pushing their own trolley with their own bags. It was a beautiful day in Mumbai, not to hot not to cold just PERFECT! Jeevika turned on her phone to call her family, but before she could dial she saw her parents pulling up their car near Jeevika and Viren. They quickly got out the car and welcomed the two home. Even though Jeevika's dad was conversing with Viren who was sitting in the front with him, Viren kept looking back through the mirrors trying to seeing Jeevika and evaluating how the anger meter was now. According to him, it was still very very very high. Those big grey eyes looked at him so fiercely that he had to look away, and the eyebrows made this shape which complimented her angry look making poor Viren even more scared. As they got home, Viren and Jeevika walked back and opened the trunk at the same time. Jeevika glared at him again, freaking him out but making him laugh inside this time. He laughed because she was unable to open the trunk since it was jammed with all their suitcases. He politely moved her hand away so she wouldn't get hurt and opened the trunk.
j - "You don't have patience? I was opening it right?"
v - "Jeevs it was jammed"
j - "Your face will get jammed now" she said to herself
Viren was getting her bags out first, when now she pushed him to the side and that too not politely. She took out her bags and left to go inside.
v - "Mrs. Angry Young Women is still in tact!"
After Viren got his bags out he entered his wife's home with her parents near him. Being his first time here, and their first time coming home after marriage, the parents had a lot of preparations made at home. Their home was beautifully decorated inside. Viren walked in with Jeevika's parents and they walked near the dining hall where they saw Jeevika putting food on a plate. Boy was she excited to be home! Viren decided to irritate her a bit and went towards her with her parents.
v - "How sweet of you Jeevs, you're putting food for me" he said taking the plate from her hands.
j - "Viren I'm hungry leave me alone"
v - "Whose stopping you? I'm hungry too. Here why don't you take this plate back and feed me yourself"
j - "Keep dreaming" she said harshly taking her plate back from him.
Thank god Jeevika's parents had gone away that moment or they would know for sure something was wrong. Jeevika took her plate and went away leaving Viren all alone. He sat at the table himself setting up his plate. He then went to look for Jeevika thinking to have food with her. He heard loud noises coming from this room, and went inside to see Jeevika sitting on her bed watching tv.
v - "May I join you?"
j - "Jeez you can't leave me alone for sometime"
v - "Not at all"
j - "You're not allowed in here" she said as he was about to sit down.
v - "And why is that my wife"
j - "Stop saying that"
v - "It won't change reality, you are my WIFEEE"
j - "Boys are not allowed in my room"
v - "Jeevika what kind of a statement is this"
j - "I said boys aren't allowed so not allowed! Go eat in the hall"
v - "Can you join me there then? I'm feeling alone"
j - "Alone? Viren Vadhera is all alone? Go get your family to entertain you. I'm just a show piece wife remember"
v - "Again?"
j - "OUT"
v - "I thought I was the one with extreme anger, but I was wrong all along"
j - "You're always wrong!"
v - "Jeevs its been like past 24 hours now can we please let go. I made a mistake. I didn't mean what I actually said"
j - "Viren please I don't wanna create a scene at home. Just give me my space. I'm not feeling well"
v - "WHAT? Why? Did you take your medicines"
j - "Stop being so concerned okay. I'll handle myself"
v - "Okay, I'll leave but just take your medicines please"
Jeevika wanted to still rage on him, but she calmed herself down. Viren left the room leaving Jeevika alone. Why did he do that she thought to himself. She wanted to make up but just wanted him to be a little more forceful and be persistent. Not give up like a loser.
