Soon after Khushi and Arnav had left Anjali turned to Akash and Payal and said 'did you believe them' Akash was stunned by her questioning but nevertheless went to answer, but was interrupted 'yes we did Di and i don't need proof to know that Jiji and Bhai weren't lying because they weren't themselves since they got married, they were always quiet and stayed together at home but were more free and open when they were at work' 'and you think I'm responsible for that, you think that i did all that stuff to her, i have a restraining order against her, for gods sake' Shyam shouted at her. It seemed that only one person out of the seven people there, used there head to find out the truth.

Shyam was dumbstruck. Are ab tu gaya shyam beta. This was the only thought going through his head at that point. He hadn't expected someone to question him. he had gone to the extent of using is lawyer contacts to forge a restraining order just in case. There was no doubt about that, but he had done it keeping in mind that Khushi and Arnav knew it wasn't true so may have asked for prove, to which he would have shown Anjali and she would have believed him. He was struck speechless because he hadn't expected the mellow couple to question him. Nevertheless, Shyam answered back. 'It is in my cupboard, would you like to see it'

If Arnav was there he would have been proud of what his younger brother did next. Akash for the first time spoke his thought when necessary. Since birth Akash Riazada had never spoken up unless ask to, never had he voiced his opinion, always going along with what he was told he thought and what he should do. But the main thing that he never thought himself to be was to be his own self, always following in his father or brothers shadow. Even after Arnav and Khushi's insistence to follow your own thoughts and think for himself he couldn't, so for him to speak up now and that to against one of his family members to voice his opinion was an utter shock to everyone in the family, just because it wasn't expected.

'no need I'm sure its there, but that doesn't no mean that we believe you, I know my Bhai and Bhabhi well enough to know that they wouldn't make up something this big' he paused looking at Anjali 'and to be honest Di I'm really disappointed in you, I never thought that you would go to the extent of disowning Bhai just because he didn't marry your choice of girl. That model, Lavanya, wouldn't have been able to bring a smile on his face let alone... You were that bound up to the fact that bhai had said no to you for the first time that you couldn't see what truly made him happy was Khushi, his wife.' He turned his back towards them and started walking away from them up the stairs. 'Akash...' 'Leave it Di, he's right' 'Payal...' Payal left too followed by mama and mami.

Only Shyam and dadi were there to she Anjali give up. With a sigh she sat down on the sofa. 'What has happened to our family dadi' ' I'll tell you Rani Sahiba, the happiness of this house has been stolen' 'I wonder why that is Jija ji' . Payal and Akash had been walking down the stairs with Mami tagging along behind them dressed to go out. 'And where do you think you are going' dadi interrupted. She had a feeling that they where going to see Arnav and Khushi and there was no way she was going to let that happen. 'If you are planning to go to see Arnav and Khushi then i suggest you stay back because you are to to see them. They broke the relation between us so...' 'when? They never broke any relations with me or Payal or Ma or Dad, so whats stopping us from seeing them. Anyway to answer your question we are taking Ma and going out for dinner as planned.' Akash walked out.

Now if you had been in the room with him you would have noticed how much he resembled his brother, and this went unnoticed by three members of the family, two of which who weren't happy about it. Once Akash, Payal and Mami had left for their dinner plans, dadi retired to her room and Shyam and Anjali retired to theirs.

Once Khushi and Arnav had got home they narrated everything to Garima and Shashi. Arnav's eyes where full of unshed tears and watching his wife break down in her fathers arms wasn't helping, and so the tears made there way down his cheek. Garima could see her children cry and walked over to Arnav and sat beside him. Arnav hadn't even let her sit and like a small child he dropped his head onto her lap and he let the tears free, flowing down his face and falling on Garima's sari, not that she minded of course not. Khushi looked up and she was met with the sight of Arnav with his eyes closed, obviously not asleep, and a frown on his lips and Garima patting his head just like Shashi was doing to her. Khushi being Khushi couldn't see everyone around her unhappy therefore words popped out of her mouth without her brain having time to processes them.

'papa, look mumma is always giving Arnav special treatment' a pout resting on her lips as she folded her arms under her chest her head still on Shashi's chest. Arnav smiled and then let out a chuckle and Khushi was smiling inwardly seeing this. 'well obviously i am the special one' he sat up straight with a smirk on his face. Khushi's mouth dropped and her eyes wide open, then let out a sly smirk. 'what!! Your the special child?' Arnav nodded. 'UFF. KHUSHI' ' what, its special treatment for the special child' and she limped over and hit him with another pillow again and again. Arnav also stood up trying to block the attacks from the pillows in Khushi's hands. Garima and Shashi smiled at each other.

Arnav grabbed khushi's arms and pulled her into a hug, his head buried in her neck and arms circled around her waist. Khushi wound her arms around his neck and both cried in each others arms.Garima and Shashi had left them to them selves and went into the other room. At 6 in the evening, Arnav, Khushi and Shashi made there way to the porch at the back of the house whilst Garima went in to prepare food. Just as Garima was going to leave to the kitchen the door bell rang. She walked over to the door and opened it. There stood Akash, Payal and Manorama and Garima let them in.

'What brings you here' she asked as the walked through the door. 'How are Bhai and Bhabhi doing' the one question brought pain into her eyes. This went unnoticed by Manorama who instantly pulled the women into a bone crushing hug. 'They are in pieces, but are determined not to admit it.' She told him, ushering them to the rest of the family out the back, whilst she took Manorama to the kitchen with her.

In the garden

Arnav had just helped Khushi sit when he spotted Akash and Payal making there way towards them. Payal couldn't help but pull Khushi into a hug. 'Im soo soo soo sorry Jiji, they shouldn't have done that or said that. It's not true. I'm sooo sorry' she wept on Khushi's shoulder. 'Payal are you mad, if you guys weren't there they wouldn't have let us finish, and what are you sorry for you didnt say it na...aww come here pagal ladki' she wiped her tears and Payal's too then hugged her back. In the mean time the men had talked it out. Akash explained to Arnav and Shashi what had happened after they had left.

'Shyam, Anjali and Dadi are not having it. They said that we are not to meet you because you have broken the relation between us. That's not true na Bhai.' 'No Akash no way, but yes i have nothing to do with shyam Anjali and dadi anymore, if Khushi is nothing to them then they are nothing to me.' He told them in a cold voice. 'But what are you going to do now' 'don't worry papa me and Khushi have come up with a plan. Akash you meet me at AR tommorow morning and i will tell you what to do.' Just then Garima and Manorama walked out to call everyone to the table. As everyone walked in Garima held Shashi back to convey what had happened in the kitchen.

Same time in the kitchen

When Garima and Manorama entered the kitchen and started preparing food for everyone to eat. Garima and shashi had decided to tell her about what they had talked about earlier so Garima broke the news to her.
