CHAPTER 11 (UNBEARABLE CLOSENESS)
geet was standing near window and watching dark sky, and moon with was shining in this dark world.. she was crying, crying for care, crying for affection, crying for warmth and love.. but alas!! she was getting nothing, she felt like a caged bird, caged because someone was fascinated by her... her freedom , her independence meant nothing..she is missing her mother.. wishing her to come back.. she heard knock on door , he saw one of servant standing there "ma'am sir is calling you for dinner".. she coldly replied "no, i am not hungry".. the servant again said "ma'am plz eat something aur sir will punish me..plz ma'am"... geet felt helplessness.. geet said "ok i am coming"..
she went down and saw devil sitting there.. she went near dinning table and sat on the chair which was far away from maan, maan was getting irritated, first time he is eating his dinner late and that to because of her and secondly she is sitting far away from him, he saw servant serving him, he stopped him and said " today she will serve, you may leave".. she was feeling disgusted to go near him, she sat silent for sometime, when she heard glass break.. maan shouted " do you hear, i said serve me..".. geet was again scared but reacted nothing.. maan was getting irritated , he went near her, pulled her arm harshly, took her near food, forcefully made her serve him, he was holding her very tightly, geet was in pain but said nothing, she was breaking from inside.. after serving she was going away when hold her hand and made her sit near him, served her .. he started eating but was sitting still, not eating anything.. her attitude WAS making him angry.. he again shouted " i said eat, do you get that"..but she remains same, he forcefully made her eat, hurting her again and again..
after the dinner,geet went to the room, again stood near the window, when she heard knock on door, she saw HIM standing there, by his gesture it was clear , he was drunk, geet was getting scared... she was moving backward, while he was coming closer to her, she was not liking sudden closeness...he hold her arms and brought her closer, she tried to push him , and started crying "plz leave mee"..she was crying, but her tear was not at all affecting maan..
maan came closer to her and whispered "shh, no one will hear your plead" and started laughing..he put her strands of hair behind her ears and touching her face with finger, geet was feeling disgusted... she somehow pushed him away.. maan again started coming closer, geet started going backward..and felt on the bed..maan also lost his balance and fell on bed.. above geet.. geet tired to push him.. she was not used to such intimacy.. she said in scared tone " plz leave me".. she saw him sleeping due to hangover.. she gain tired to push him, but every time she failed.. she was feeling disgusted with him getting tis close to her...
morning came, but geet didn't slept a blink, maan was on her sleeping, maan made some movement and geet quickly pushed him and got out of bed, she was crying, tears was non-stop.. she went to washroom and opened shower and sat below it, crying loudly,cursing her life...
