The most talked about topic amongst scientists and scholars these days is Global Warming. Scientists are now divided into 2 groups.one that belive that global warming is here and another which doesen't. which group are you in? DO you belive that global warming is here? Do you think we are close to the end, the end of the world? which side are you on?

I believe Global cooling is happening now; it's very obvious seeing snowfall in unexpected states. Winter seems to be longer every year. There certainly is a deviation in the Earth's global climate.

After experiencing the unexpected snowfall I believe in this theory though it has not gathered much support.

Earth in for another "ice age" in mid-century - scientist

16:51 | 06/ 02/ 2006

ST. PETERSBURG, February 6 (RIA Novosti) - Low solar activity could trigger a global freeze in the middle of the 21st century, a Russian astronomer said Monday.

Khabibullo Abdusamatov of the Pulkovo Astronomic Observatory said temperatures would begin falling six or seven years from now, when global warming caused by increased solar activity in the 20th century reached its peak, and that the coldest period would occur 15-20 years after a major solar output decline in 2035-2045.

Abdusamatov said dramatic changes in the earth's surface temperatures were an ordinary phenomenon, not an anomaly, and resulted from variations in the Sun's energy output and ultraviolet radiation.

The Northern Hemisphere's most recent cool-down period of 1645-1705, known as the Little Ice Age, left canals in Holland frozen solid and forced people in Greenland to abandon their houses to glaciers, the scientist said.

I believe we are experiencing cyclical changes in the climate and do not think man has contributed enough to alter the course.
Unfortunately we will never be able to prove one way or the other.

Global warming is defintly happening and need to be looked upon closely. Earth is heating up more quickly then it used to and from what i have, the sceientists have prediatced that the ice in Artic and Antartic is going to melt with 100 years. That means that today we might able to survive but what about the next generation. this is an important matter and should be looked upon cloesly. 😊
