Dil, Dhokha Aur Dhamaal: Epi Aug 21
We had all the ingredients today " dil, dhokha and dhamaal
Dil: Jab dil toot tha hai tho uski awaz nahin aati lekin goonj door door tak jaati hai
Who else, but Dilshaad would understand the depth of this statement. Today, history repeated itself when Nikhats heart broke into a million pieces. Breaking someones heart can have a ripple effect on many lives affected by it. We have seen what happened 17 years ago- a single mother, an angry son, a fatherless girl that have suffered in silence for the past 17 years. The man responsible for this heartbreak has not found happiness since then. His second family is as dysfunctional as it gets.
After Nikhats heartbreak, do we really think Imran will find happiness in his life? Will Najma ever be happy in this marriage? Will the relations between the brothers ever be the same?
Dhokha:
Haseena bi and Imran get the award for creating this mess
Haseena: She avenged her humiliation by humiliating Rashid and his second family. Certainly, not done and not required. Rashid was right- humein gumraah kiya gaya hai. If Haseena bi has even an ounce of sharaft, she would have never planned this direct confrontation between the families. What a low life she is!
Imran: Granted he got a few brownie points by standing up for his lady love today. He apologized to Nikhat- another brownie point but is this enough? Did he just say- Najma main tumhein kabhie dhokha nahin doonga? Really Imran? Have you told her about Tanveer? If you do, then I will grant you another brownie point.
Dhamaal: As expected, we witnessed an epic clash between the two families. Both were wrong and right in their own way. Yes, Asad should have discussed the Najma issue with Nikhat or Ayaan before proceeding with the meeting. Dilshaad should have insisted on it too. Ayaan was visibly hurt and we all know what a hot head he is. Thanks to Zoya, Asad stayed calm throughout the confrontation.
Will Zoya now stay out of this mess or try to pacify things between the two families? Knowing her, I feel the latter would happen. That means- more dhamaal before peace reigns in.
So, once again, let the battle play out while we watch in anticipation. I am not sure what direction this track will take but I am sure that after breaking Nikhats heart, Imran will not be a happy man for too long. He will have to pay heavily.
