Katrina in a Ranbir's film times of India article

After missing out on quite a few opportunities to work with Ranbir Kapoor, Katrina Kaif might finally land a project with her boyfriend. The buzz is that Katrina might be signed for Anurag Basu's 'Jagga Jasoos'. The film is the maiden venture of Anurag and Ranbir's Picture Shuru Productions.

Ranbir and Katrina were last seen together on screen, in Prakash Jha's Rajneeti, three years back. To make matters worse, all the films she was considered for-- Ayan Mukerji's Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and more recently, Imtiaz Ali's next--went to Deepika Padukone, Ranbir's ex-flame.

A source close to the development told TOI, "Anurag has met Katrina regarding the project and The Script is currently with the actress. He is busy putting together other aspects of the film. The onscreen chemistry between Ranbir and Katrina was evident in both Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and Raajneeti. The talks are at an advanced stage and if all goes well, she will be cast opposite Ranbir in the film"

Recently, the couple has been spotted lazing around in beaches, letting their hair down at rock concerts and even hitting the gym together. The actress had also landed on the sets of Bombay Velvet in Sri Lanka, just to be by her boyfriend. Katrina's phone was switched off when Mirror tried to call her.
