It has been a bit long since I updated, I had gotten busy with college work again. Finals just ended so I'm free. YOu guys can expect more updates from me now. Thank you for the previous likes and comments. I really appreciate them 😊

Chapter Three: Face Off

She'she just insulted me. And she didn't even know who I was. Who didn't know me?

I narrowed my eyes. Was she playing with me? Some women at first pretended to not know so they could get close to me. I let them think I wasn't on to them but they always spit in out sooner or later.

But maybe she didn't really know. No impossible, she lived in India for god's sake. How could she miss my name?

I moved closer to her and she eyed me warily.

"You can drop the act and stop trying to seem indifferent towards me."

"Indifferent?"

"Yeah. Indifferent."

She suddenly smiled and I blinked. She looked gorgeous. I took in her face again and noticed that she was indeed stunning. Of course in a typical salwaar kameez Indian girl kind of way, I assured myself.

I was so lost in her that I almost missed her next words, "Honey, I'm pretty sure I am indifferent towards you."

She through the endearment back in my face, mocking me with it.

I clenched my teeth and said, "Honey, I'm pretty sure you aren't."

"What? Can't you handle someone ignoring you for once?"

No I couldn't. But before I could answer with a smart comeback, and I did have one, the taxi driver interrupted.

"I know you all might have all day to argue about'whatever you are arguing about but I don't. So where to first?"

I tried to quickly give him the studios address but the girl cut me off.

I watched her as she charmed the taxi driver calling him 'bhai', stating how cute the picture of the wife was, and how his children were so adorable. He practically beamed under her attention. He actually said to her that he would drop her off first and the 'chirchera larka' (moody boy) could wait until later.

I watched astonished and speechless as she sat back into her seat and smugly looked at me.

My fists clenched in my lap. I was getting late and here she was trying to prove some stupid point that I don't even know about.

She looked at me with fake apologetic eyes, that little witch and said, "I hope you understand. I do after all need to meet up with my friends and it would be rude to keep them waiting."

I could here the sarcasm in her voice. I looked straight into her eyes and gave her a smile with all teeth,

"Of course I understand. My precious ego isn't that hurt that I would need my friends to heal it right away. And I would've let you go first, I am a gentleman after all."

A total lie.

After giving me a predatory smile that made me caution, RK didn't speak. He looked out the window or checked his phone. I decide to ignore him too. He was rude and annoying. And I didn't want anything to do with him.

But I couldn't help glance at him a few times. As if he felt me looking at him he turned to me. In a blink of an eye he had moved closer.

Way too close.

I backed away and my back hit the taxi's door.

"What do you think your doing?"

His face had lost all the charm that he had when he first spoke to me; right now he looked almost determined.

"You shouldn't be looking at me every few seconds if you want nothing to do with me."

"I don't."

"Good."

But he stayed where he was looking at me with his pretty eyes. I looked closer and noticed that he was indeed handsome. But before I could make out his individual features he moved closer slanting his head so that his caps front wouldn't hit me. We were almost nose-to-nose and I couldn't move even if I wanted to.

I did want to. He was too near that the only thing I noticed was just him. I should tell him to move back or stop but I couldn't speak.

"Why is that'?"

His voice was a mere whisper and I could feel his warm breathe on my lips. That shouldn't make me wonder what would happen if he closed the distance between us or what if I did?

Oh god what was happening to me? I should be wondering why he stopped speaking midway instead of how his body was almost pressed against mine.

Then before I could ponder over my thoughts his hand moved towards me and I finally said, "S-s-stop."

The next think I knew I was jerked back. I grabbed the handle above the door to keep myself from falling.

The door behind me had opened.

RK who now was smirking at me said, "You have arrived, Princess."

Wait, what? I thought he'

"What do you think I was about to do?"

His amusing voice brought me back to reality and I straightened myself.

"Nothing. I thought you were about to do absolutely nothing."

Repeating myself only added to how frustrated I was. I didn't want to meet his eyes because I, myself, didn't know what I was thinking.

I took out money from my bag to give to the taxi driver.

RK now was sitting back where he was before and still staring at me. I ignored him and handed the driver the money over the partition. I hoped he didn't notice the way my hands were trembling or how I was just'so shaken up.

I was almost out of the taxi when I heard him laugh and say, "You didn't think I was, you know, interested in you in anyway? Or even about to ki'"

He trailed off not finishing the sentence.

I stiffened and got out. I was just going to leave, not saying anything but as I turned around to close the door I said,

"I'm sorry if your mistaken but I on the other hand would never be interested in you. And if right now you are even remotely interested in me then I should remind you honey that pretty boys with huge egos are only good for girls with little intellect. And, sadly, I don't fit in the category. So good bye."

I slammed the door in his stunned face and headed towards the salon. I hoped I would never see him again. That bas***d.

Present Day

I had thought I would never have to meet him again. I wouldn't have to deal with his arrogance or stupid little smirks.

But now here I was standing in front of the studio. I had made up every excuse I could think of to not meet him today but Emberr ignored each one. She has said that I needed to 'study' him, to get to know him better so that I could be in 'tune' with him.

Whatever that meant.

But I knew it was important to come here today because the manager of the shooting was going to be here t and I needed to know what exactly this photo-shoot was about. There was going to be an official meeting two days later then now but I had to get the basic components ahead of time.

Also I hoped I would get a written copy of the concept today. I wanted to do this job right even though I disliked the model.I would be professional and deal with everyone with respect, I reminded myself as I finally entered the studio.

I knew there was a soon to be hit movie being shoot right now. I also knew that RK was the hero for that film and it was his first movie. But that didn't mean no one knew him.

Oh no.

He was famous model overseas and in India he had done a couple of dramas, a dancing contest, and was a model here as well. He was a star that was rising and apparently he was every woman's dream.

She begged to differ on that last part. But who was she up against a million crazed fans?

"Excuse me 'mam."

A male voice interrupted my thoughts and I looked up over to a man wearing a shirt that said security.

"Yes?"

"Do you have permission to enter?"

I frowned. At the gate I had already given them the pass that Emberr gave to me to enter the studio. Shouldn't they already be informed that I was coming?

"Yes I do, that's why I was allowed to enter."

I gave the man a look that said 'duh, what ya think I climbed over" but he didn't even bat an eye.

"That may be the case but I need to recheck again. There is tight security because of some problems surrounding RK. I hope you understand. "

It somehow always came back to him.

I quickly gave the man my pass and he checked it, asked me a couple questions and then I was free to go. But I did wonder what those problems were. Before the security person left I asked him.

He grimaced and said, "A crazy stalker. We haven't been able to identify him or her yet but we hope too. You should be at the lookout as well."

With that he left, leaving me a bit worried. A crazy stalker? Great.

I mean how worse could it possibly get?

I already had a job I didn't want to do, hated the man I needed to stay with 24/7 and found out that a stalker, who could possibly target me now, was already on the menu.

It couldn't possibly get worse, I told myself.

But maybe I spoke a bit to soon. RK eyes had found me. And it was obvious he wasn't glad to see me.

loved this FF. ow!!! can their first meet could be any more turbulent😉.. its like as though they have boarded a plane only to make it crash with their heated arguments lol!!! Now am at the edge of my seat to know RK's reaction after seeing her in his office😉..and hoping the crazy stalker brings rishbala closer hehe
