| Television industry......an organised chaos??? | |
| In a time when everything is going the corporate way; from small time manufacturers to Bollywood, one wonders what is the fate of our television industry going to be! Though some production houses have made an early entry to the corporate culture, a large majority still believes in nepotism and whimsical approach to work. We spark a debate among TV folks to know how much our television industry is organized at the moment. |

I feel it's pretty organized. Look at the number of people getting employment in the industry. I also agree that there are certain areas that need improvement, like an advance scheduling so that in any eventuality the programme does not have to bereplaced or re-run.

Though this industry has given me a lot, I still feel there are areas that require more discipline. As an actor I am not too happy with the working conditions that one has to encounter everyday. We have to work endlessly without any holidays and it starts getting difficult for us to adjust to such demands. Moreover things like favoritism rule the roost in our industry.
