Surprise Surprise!!
Hello fellow Earthlings!
It's been very long hasn't it? Well, I was kind of thinking of giving up on D3 completely after VD left and I have stopped watching it anyway. But, thanks to people like Debu, Nithi and Shivs I thought of continuing. So many things have happened in the past month and school is starting again in September! OMG! I can't believe vacation is coming to an end and hopefully I can wrap up this story soon as well. I don't want to continue when school starts because I really do get distracted easily. Anyhow, this has been the LONGEST chapter...like 7 or 8 pages. So hope you guys like it and I will update a few times a week so watch out for all the updates. And please do like and comment!
"Reyansh Singhania"
Reyansh Singhania. The General Secretary of the St. Louis entered the canteen with a smile. His days at this college were becoming extremely entertaining and amusing; perhaps due to the entry of a certain someone.
He chuckled at her reaction. She was definitely fun to play around with, the anger that came on her nose every time he would make a comment was hilarious. Just after she had managed to yell and dis him off in the library he caught her again in class.
The bell was about to ring and there was barely anyone there. He had quietly sat down at the end of the class texting his assistant (AGS), Shilpa Malhotra, about an on-going project when he heard her coming in while cursing words silently.

Flashback
Taani's POV
I left from the canteen for my next class but my mind was still engrossed with that Khadoos Singhania. The smirk on his face'ugh! But I had to admit that he was an extremely good looking lad. He had a well-defined body and a face that even I can't sometimes resist thinking about.
Yes, he was not only Mr. Khadoos Singhania but also Mr. Hot & Handsome Singhania. Ugh'Teetli! Stop'stop! Please for the love of all that's holy stop your crazy fantasies of the bad boy who fall in love with the sweet innocent girl. Because one, you ain't anything near sweet and innocent and two, you're watching WAY too many Bollywood chick flicks these days.
"Class mein sambhal ke jaana, humne abhi haal pauncha (mopped) lagaya hai," said the janitor who was putting up 'Wet here; walk with caution' signs.
I smirked at the signs'honestly who couldn't see the floor is wet?
But before I could analyze more my foot tripped on the entrance of the class door and there I went on the ground.
Flat on the ground.
I managed to pick myself up and looked in front. There it was'that sign!Mocking me!
I mentally slapped myself. This is what you get for being an overconfident idiot Teetli! Never underestimate the power of karma.
But it wasn't that bad since there was no one in class to witness my extremely embarrassing fall. I smiled to myself and composed myself together taking in the sight of the benches.
And'there he was.
The Hot and Handsome Singhani staring at me with the biggest grin on his face. If I was a vegetable I'd be a tomato because my face and heart were flooded with blood. This was extremely embarrassing! Karma truly is a bitch (and here I thought it wasn't too bad).
"Ms.Tsunami, tum hamesha aise hi girti ho ya aaj ka din hi kuch aisa hai?"
"Oh shut up will you!"
I cut off the conversation and got seated. After a second the bell rang and students filled into the classroom. A girl with black jet hair, green eyes and a pink summer dress came and sat beside me.
"Hey..I'm Shilpa!" She introduced herself while getting settled.
"Tanusha'but you can call me Taani."
"Oh sweet! You are new na?"
The conversation proceeded and I thought that at least something good happened today'I met Shilpa Malhotra. An extremely fun, bubbly and lively girl. She had the positive vibes all around her and was intelligent as well'not to mention how beautiful she looked'damn! I felt jealous.

Rey's POV
Rey's thoughts about Ms. Tsunami were cut short when he reached the gang's table.
"Kya baat hai aaj humara GS itna khush lag raha hai? Baat kya hai?" Nilesh asked the question that all the boys were wondering.
Reyansh had always been a fun guy but from the past two years his life had consisted of constant duties and responsibilities. In all this, the gang had discovered the workaholic and more mature side of Rey. This was one of the rare days that he seemed idle and in daze of a good memory.
"Are woh Tsunami'" he began but cut out due to Vicky screaming.
"TSUNAMI! KAB! KAHAN!?"
"Are'woh Tsunami nahi'woh koi nayi ladki aayi hai na'uski baat kar raha hoon."
Swayam knew who he was talking about, "You mean Tanusha Gujral?"
"Haan," he agreed remembering hearing bits of the conversation she had with Shilpa during class. Funny that he had met her so many times yet they never had a proper introduction.
"Tu use Tsulami bulata hai?" Amar asked surprised.
"Are woh hai hi aise'bikul paagal!" Rey then proceeded to talk about their incidents and the boys listened carefully. When he ended they all looked at each other, including Swayam, and raised their famous 'chemistry' hands.
"OYE! What the hell are you guys doing with your hands?!"
"Rey'areee hum Jazz kar rahe haina'toh baas practice'practice kar rahe the," Swayam explained.
Rey was doubtful but let it go considering how crazy the gang was and walked away.
"Yeh Rey aur Taani kitne bewakoof hai," Bharat said remembering how they had fooled Taani with the same excuse and she believed them.
"Soulmates!" Vicky exclaimed.
"Shut up! But Swayam how are you planning on getting these two together?" Nilesh asked.
"Are guys just wait and watch," he winked at them and cheerfully went to VP sir's office.
Just a day or two before the first day of school the gang had been deeply thinking about the changes that have come in their best friend Rey. He had missed Vicky's birthday that week to prepare for his GS duties. Vicky had become upset and the gang was also frustrated at Rey's behaviour but no one completely blamed him. He had recently lost the most important person in his life and they knew how hard he had been trying to cope with it.
When Swayam saw Taani he knew that this could possibly just be that one person who could fill up the "best friend forever" piece in Rey's life. His friendship with Kriya had been short lived but he was adamant to get his friend's spirit back up. Yes, Rey still talked normally but he has been having less fun. With the addition of Taani he seemed to be having a laugh thanks to her antics.
"Swayam, are you sure about this? I mean we all don't even know Taani properly. How can we trust her with Rey? How can we do this to him?"
"Sharon please understand. We aren't making them go out on romantic dinners. We are just trying to bring them close as friends. We all know that Rey will never open up to us and heck for the past months he has been almost invisible due to his work. But, today'did you see him?! He was happy'he was laughing Sharon. He was laughing! I think Taani will be able to do it'think about it."
"I think you are right, but it will be difficult. Taani is not Kriya Swayam and you should remember that. She doesn't even like Rey'all their meetings have been major disasters."
"I know but sometimes first meetings and impressions aren't everything. Just cross your fingers Sharon."

Rey's POV
The day had gone by like usual. I had buried myself into reports which I had to make since morning. It was only when the bell had rung that I knew it was time for lunch. Rubbing my eyes which were watery from reading and typing continuously, I closed the computer and walked out to get lunch. When I came back into my little office-like GS cabin, I opened my mail. I began reading all the mails I had received, deleting the spams and keeping important ones. I immediately opened the mail sent by the NDC trustees.
The National Dance Competition auditions were going to be held at our college and I was going to be in-charge. Though dance was my passion I was nervous because event management was stressful. It was usually Shilpa who took care of those things but unfortunately she was not going to be there. She was assigned to handle the written formalities while I had been asked to manage the whole event. This was going to be a crazy few months for me.
I closed the email as soon as I saw the peon addressing me to go to VP sir's office.
"Sir, may I come in?" I asked while knocking on his office door.
"Yes please Reyansh."
"Sir did you need anything?"
He looked up from his file and smiled, "I thought that you would be stressed with managing the whole NDC event yourself."
I smiled hoping that he would do something to make my life easier.
"So I thought that maybe'I should partner you up with someone. Someone who can help you with this whole event. I went through one student's file and she seemed extremely capable. She is new in our college but has worked with the NDC committee in her old college."
"But sir she is new."
"So what, she isn't a fresher. She has more experience compared to you when dealing with NDC so it will be great for you."
"Hmmm'okay sir. What's her name?"
"Tanusha'Tanusha Gujral."
Holy mother of lord!
That was the thought that entered my mind when I heard the name. Tanusha Gujral'.Taani'means Tsunami?! How!? The girl that fell two times today'how can she handle this event? Yes, she was funny and bubbly but clumsy as well. NDC was big for St. Louis and handling it would take some serious effort and hardwork.
"Sir'are you sure about this?"
I would never tell him about the incidents that occurred between me and Taani but I would surely question her abilities.
"Yes Rey, I am serious. But, if you can't for any reason work with her then let me know however, I expect you to give her a chance."
I nodded, it was true. Everyone deserved a chance to prove themselves.
I walked out the office but even more nervous and worried then before.

Taani's POV
What in the name of fudgecles was happening!
"Sir, are you sure?!"
"Taani, trust me. I think you are perfect for it, and Swayam feels the same! And it isn't every day that Swayam and Sharon recommend someone. I think that your files are impressive and your past experience will be helpful. You can do this. I can see that in you."
The Vice-Principal had requested to see me while I was in the middle of Biology. When I entered he bluntly put down that I should aide the General Secretary for the upcoming NDC auditions that were being held in the college. I loved volunteering at places and helping in events but I was new and I was feeling a bit hesitant.
"Fine sir. I will do it. But, who is the GS?"
"Reyansh. Reyansh Singhania."
He left and I pondered. Singhania? Who the hell was he?
"Me."
Did I just say that out loud?
"Yes"
I turned back hearing the voice and faced the same Greek god who I had met three times in the past two days. I just gawked at him. Staring at him and not uttering a word'it seemed as though my face was completely blank.
"I'm Reyansh Singhania. But you could call me Rey, Taani." He smiled at me and it actually seemed genuine. Instead of yelling or taunting me by saying Tsunami he said my real name. He was being polite and I didn't want to ruin the moment by being all snappy.
I gave a small smile but asked, "How do you know my name?"
"Swayam told me."
Then it stricked me. He was the Rey that everyone in the gang had been talking about. The gang's hero and Swaron's buddy. They missed him a lot and would say that he has changed with empathy in their eyes. I knew nothing of him but could see that there was something that he was hiding. I was curious but thought to hold it all for now.
"Errm'so I wasn't expecting to work with you. But, fill me in with everything."
"I wasn't either but yeah sure." He opened up his laptop and showed me my part of the job and gave me extra details. Rey seemed to be a great leader, apart from the hotness factor, he was direct and confident. When he explained things he was patient with me and was trying his best to make me understand. However, I knew he was also the kind who had high expectations, something I was a bit scared of.
"Okay then. We can meet up on Friday to discuss this."
He nodded, "Seems fine."
"Oh'wait'I need your number." I bring out my phone and see him smiling at me wickedly.
"Desperate aren't you, sweetheart?" He says in a flirty tone.
That cheeky bas***d!
"Shut up'I need it for the DJ and Cameramen to contact you."
He takes out his phone and we exchange numbers, I bid him farewell and began to walk out. I was still engrossed in the phone and trying to put in his name.
Before I realized.
Bang!
I bumped into the closed door. I rubbed my head and tried to get out before Rey noticed. But I think he did because he slapped his head in frustration after looking at me.
"Tsunami, kabhi nahi sudhrogi!" He yelled out while I walked out of the room.
Precap:
"Shilpa, this is Armaan. And Armaan this is Shilpa."
