if it is for non dancers than i wonder what "dancers" are doing on the stage and what will happen to non dancers, dancers will easily have more chance to win and be in the top level and its not fare for non dancers who are really trying hard

Dancers seem to be less famous or known than the non dancers.. such as Shaan vs Lauren / Mukti vs Sid. This ain't fair either when it comes to public voting.
So the show actually becomes fair when there's so much unfairness. 😆

You should be careful, some members here will now come and attack you for opening this topic
Apparently according to some people being a dancer or non-dancer doesn't mean anything in the show. You just have to be a celebrity. *cough*
Next year Prabu Deva will be competing :)

I agree its not fair for contestants like Shaan, KVB ( he is anyway out now) etc. to compete with dancers like mukti, lauren, kids etc. They should had chose only non-dancers and in that way judges could see the progress of each contestant as the show proceeds ahead!

And here we go again...

They should, in the same token, choose contestants who are equally as famous and will garner competitive amounts of votes so the public can see the progress of each contestant - it's pretty unfair of good dancers such as KVB to leave before mediocre dancers that are still left in the show due to their high fan votes..

I WOULD AGREE THAT THE SHOW SHOULD ONLY CONTAIN NON-TRAINED DANCERS IF IT WAS PURELY BASED ON JUDGES SCORES BUT AS THIS COMPETITION IS A COMBINATION OF JUDGES AND PUBLIC OPINION, THERE IS NO NEED FOR THE JUDGES TO SEE THE PROGRESS AS THE PUBLIC WILL VOTE FOR THEIR FAVORITE REGARDLESS OF THE JUDGES SCORES OR OPINIONS.

JDJ is for celebrities ... This is not the first season where there are trained dancers ... Anyways non dancers =non trained dancres ????? or non Dancer means celebrities who didnt dance before ..

Whatever ..there is no such format .. but if this is unfair how come every year average non dancers won over beautiful and graceful dancers like Sushant,Isha,Ritwik,Shweta ..

it is based on the british format, which includes only celbs, it is upto the celb to choose if can dance or not dance- if i stink then i shouldnt come right? it is just engage the audience, if it was for just non dancers then it shd be for all same status celbs?

I think JhALAK IS FOR COMEDIANS & CIRCUS GEEKS 😉 😆

Your post says, how unaware you are about the format and how winner and losers are decided according to the format...😆

Anyway, the winner has been decided by the channel and it's a RIGGED show, so all these discussions makes no sense. 😆

By the way there are half a dozen threads on this subject.😉
