Optimystix's Chhanchhan on Sony TV has been in news for quite long, firstly with Farhan Khan's replacement and then the cat fight between Sanaya Irani and Farhan Khan.
Still the show hasn't been able to catch the eyeball for its viewers. We all know that the show has got an extension till March 2014. And as we are witnessing the story the show is revolving around Manav (Anuj Sachdeva) and Channchaan (Sanaya Irani). Still the TRPs have dropped down to a certain extent. However not only that but many character actors are also not part of the show.
Our source informed us that, "Himanshu essayed by Dheeraj Miglani who plays Manav's best friend in the show was told that he will have shooting after a week of his surgery but than somehow its been a month now and he has not been given call time and thus is not shooting."
Continues our source, "There is one more actor Vivdha Kirti who plays Mansi, Chhanchhan's sister -in-law in the daily soap. She too isn't shooting for Chhanchhan and is busy with ads and also looking out for roles."
When we asked the duo the real story behind it, Dheeraj said, "I have no clue why I am not called for the shoot, as I was told that I will have regular scenes with Manav. However that never happened and then I decided to go for under eye surgery after which I asked them but there wasn't any response from them. It was strange on their part and now I have lost all hopes and feel that I should try giving auditions for new shows."
Vividha Kirti too shared the same feelings, "I am very much part of Chhanchhan but I haven't been shooting for Chhanchhan for more than a month now. I had applied for leave so that I could do some advertisements but I wasn't granted leave and somehow I was told I can get back to Mumbai and resume shooting for Chhanchhan but I haven't been given a particular date to join."
Talking about her current status in the show, she averred, "I have no clue what my track is all about now, and also I am searching for few lead roles. I have no issues with the production house nor do I have any issues with any co-actor. I am just clueless about my stint in the show."
Is it end of road for Dheeraj and Vivdha or will they have some scenes in Chhanchhan
Is Chhanchhan only about Manav and Chhanchhan?
P.S.: Just pointing out an observation, no intention to insult or hurt anyone.
