While tentpole releases usually launch their promos with big films, Yash Raj Films believes in doing things their own way. They've done it again with their decision to attach the trailer of Dhoom 3 – which is as big as it gets – to Shuddh Desi Romance (SDR) which releases on September 6. Not only does that show great confidence in the mega-franchise, it also demonstrates the production house's conviction in SDR. Bravo!

And while on the subject, a few select distributors who were given a sneak peek of the Dhoom 3 trailer are raving about it. Not only is it contrary to all the speculations about the film's content, it also sets up the scale and class of the film in a simple yet very effective manner. Moreover, while Aamir Khan is undoubtedly the star of the show, the trailer does full justice to each of the other key characters like Abhishek Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Uday Chopra
