Dadima (with hurt and anger): Maan aaj aapne jo kiya hai hume aap par nahi apne aap par dukh ho raha hai. Aaj aapne Geet ki nahi hamari parvarish ki insult ki hai. Aap apne past ki saza kyu apne present ko de rahe hai. Maan kahi aisa na ho aap apne past ki frustration ki wajah se apne present ko tabah kar de.

Then Dadima too marched from there to sooth Geet. Maan looked at the retreating figure of Dadima. He was thinking that why he everyone was blaming him only; he was just exposing her cheapness in order to save them from any hurt in future and here everyone was hell bent on cursing him. He was now completely frustrated on everyone. He looked at Vicky with anger.

Maan (angrily): Agar tumhe bhi kuch kehna hai to kehlo'..I won't leave this girl so easily, aaj sirf iski wajah se meri family mujhi par ungli utha rahi hai.

Vicky (with hurt and pain): Bro you don't love Bhabhi; it doesn't mean that you blame her for every problem that occurs in your life.

Maan (shouted): Do you think I am insane; I don't have a mind...You all think that I am mad and I have a habit blaming people without any reason?

Vicky: Mera aisa koi matlab nahi hai Bro'.

Maan (roared): Then what do you mean?...Here I am trying to protect you and Dadima from that cheap selfish girl and you all are hell bent on blaming me'.

Vicky could not hear further as Maan was again and again cursing Geet; he decided to tell everything to Maan. Though Geet was the one who was going to reveal the surprise but due to the sudden turn of events, Vicky thought that he should tell Maan everything in order to save from further misunderstanding.

Vicky: Bro Bhabhi wanted to give you a surprise that's why from last month she was taking half day leave. Aap apni nafrat me itna bhi bhool gaye ki kal Sahil ka birthday hai'.

Maan eyes turned numb; how could he forget Sahil's birthday. Maan thought that by bringing Sahil into the matter he was trying to save Geet. His anger on Vicky increased more.

Maan (enraged): Vicky don't bring Sahil into this matter'

Vicky: Kyu Bro aapko darr lag raha hai ki kahi aapke blames jhoote na ho jaye'.(Maan fumingly looked at him) last one month se Bhabhi Sahil ke naam par ek orphanage banwane me busy thi. Or wo aapko surprise dena chahti thi kal Sahil ke birthday par. Or aapko pata hai Orphanage ka saara expense wo aapne aap dena chahti hai, isliye she applied for loan in your company. Adi bhaiya knows that if you want you can confirm from him. Jab Dadima ne unhe help karna chaha by giving money, she said ' nahi Dadima mai sab kuch apni mehnat se karna chahti hu, aakhir Sahil mera bhi to beta hai''.Kya aap ab bhi ye kahenge ki Bhabhi selfish hai'

Maan looked at him disbelievingly. He was shocked that what he was assuming and what came out. He had no words to say. He was looking at Vicky without any expressions. Vicky realized that it should be better to leave Maan alone for sometime. So he too rushed from there to his room. Maan realized that he had done a grave mistake. He marched out of the house guiltily.

On the other side, Dadima was consoling Geet.

Dadima: Beta don't cry; hum aapko aise rota hua nahi dekh sakte. Beta I know you are hurt but agar itne me hi himmat haar jaogi to aage itna bada raasta kaise poora karogi. You should be strong Beta; I know Maan is wrong but circumstances made him like this.

Geet looked at Dadima with tearful eyes. She realized that it wasn't Maan who was saying all those words but his bitterness due to his past experiences. She was soothed a little, but somewhere deep down her heart she was hurt not because he blamed her but on her helplessness; how much she had tried to make him happy but his past was not leaving him. She looked at Dadima.

Geet (tearfully): Dadima aap hi bataiye mai kya karu? Kaise unhe unke past se door le jao? Mai jitna koshish karti hu unhe unki kadvi yaadon se door le jaane utna hi wo un yaadon ke kareeb chale jaate hai'Dadima mujhe lagta hai shayad mujhme hi koi kami hai jo hamesha unka dukh door karne ki bajai mai unka dukh badha deti hu.

Dadima: Nahi beta aap galat samajh rahi hai; aapse behtar ladki Maan ke liye koi ho hi nahi sakti. Aap jitna pyaar Maan ko koi or ladki nahi de sakti; or rahi baat koshish karne ki Beta ye jaruri to nahi ki is baar koshish fail ho gayi to haar baar aapki koshish fail ho jaaye'.or Beta aapko is tarah haar nahi maanni chahiye'.or aapne wo gaana to suna hi hoga

" Usse hasna bhi hoga, usse rona bhi hoga,

Usse paana bhi hoga usse khona bhi hoga,

Subah sham tanhai me aahe bharega'

Har dil jo pyaar karega"

Geet smiled a little and Dadima also smiled seeing her smiling face. She was somewhat relaxed but a new worry was aching her; how was Maan, how was he feeling after all this. She had to clear every misunderstanding between them and she decided to do it now only. She stood up and walked towards the door.

Dadima: Geet Beta aap kaha ja rahi hai?

Geet: Dadima mai unse baat karne ja rahi hu. Unhe batane ja rahi hu ki wo jo soch rahe hai wo sab galat hai.

Dadima: Geet aap kahi nahi jaayegi.

Geet looked at Dadima totally confused that she was stopping her.

Dadima: Geet Maan ko apni galti ka ehsaas hona chahiye; or is baar aap pehel nahi karegi. And moreover you are not going to talk to him'.(Geet surprisingly and quizzically looked at Dadima) Agar aap ek baari me hi unhe maaf kar degi to maza kaise aayega (Dadima winked) and Mr. Maan Singh Khurana ko bhi to pata chalna chahiye ki itni achhi biwi ko naraz karne ki saza kya hai'.Unhone hamari Bahu ko rulaya hai hum unhe itni aasani se to nahi chodege.

Geet smiled and Dadima and Geet both came down. They asked to Vicky about Maan's whereabouts. When Vicky told them that Maan has gone out; Geet panicked as she was well aware of Maan's anger and didn't want him to take any wrong step in his anger. Dadima soothed her and said that there's nothing to worry and Maan would be all right. Dadima asked Vicky to call Maan, but Maan wasn't picking up the call so he dropped a message to come home soon.

Maan came late at night. When he entered the mansion he saw Dadima and Vicky sitting there. He was not able to meet their eyes as he was feeling guilty. He, avoiding their eyes, marched towards his room. But Dadima stopped him.

Dadima: Maan rukiye'(Maan stopped without turning around) fresh hokar neeche aa jaiye hum dinner ke liye aapka wait kar rahe hai.

Maan (shocked and turned around): Dadima aapne abhi tak dinner nahi kiya'(angrily) you already know it is not good for your health'Aap start kijiye I am coming.

Though he didn't want to eat, hunger was far-far away from his mind, but he knew the stubborn nature of Dadima; she wouldn't eat if he denied to come for dinner and so he agreed. He slowly moved towards his room, he was sure that if Geet was not there with Dadima and Vicky then she might be in the room. His every step towards his room was seemed heavy with guilt. He was thinking that how he would face her. The moment he entered the room his eyes started searching Geet, but to his dismay she wasn't there.

Maan (thought): Geet kaha gayi'.wo kahi chali to nahi gayi'.

He panicked. He instantly came out of the room and was about to ask Dadima when he saw her downstairs settling the dinner table. He relived and again came to the room to change. After changing he came down; all the time his concentration was on Geet. Everyone settled on their chairs. Maan's eyes were on Geet only and it wasn't go unnoticed by Dadima. Geet was avoiding his eyes but she could sense that Maan was constantly observing her. She served him but not even once looked at him. The dinner was silent; Maan decided that he would talk to her in their room after the dinner. After the dinner when Dadima was about to go to her room Geet interrupted.

Geet: Umm..Dadima kya mai aaj aapke saath aapke room me so jau'

Maan was hurt and astonished. And much to his dismay even Dadima agreed.

Maan (self-thought): She is so much hurt that she doesn't want to stay with me in a single room'Now how would I talk to her and apologize her if she doesn't give me a chance'

All went to their respective rooms. Sleep was distant from Maan and Geet's eyes. Maan was thinking how to apologize her while Geet was thinking how to make him believe that she truly loved him. Night went and morning came with a new hope.

When Geet woke she realized that her clothes were in her room and to freshen up she had to go to her room. Due to the last night event she was apprehensive to face him; what if he again blame her for anything. She didn't have the spirit to face much more hate and insult from the man she loved the most and moreover Dadiama ordered her not to talk to him so easily. She looked at the time and concluded that it was the right time to go in the room and bring her clothes as Maan would be in gym doing his tai-chi. She slowly and vigilantly entered the room, came towards the cupboard and took out her clothes as fast as she could. After taking the clothes she was about to step out of the room but was pulled by someone again into the room. It was none other than Maan. She was shocked and was looking at him with her doe-shaped eyes. They were just mere inches apart and Maan's hands were on her waist; he was holding her what if she again ran away. His hot breaths were fanning her already red face. She was melting inside.

Maan: Bahut jaldi hai room se jaane ki'.
