Akbar bad and Jodha good??

Hi guys, I hve recently started watching this show and so far loving it. Now as they r on the way of shahi shaadi of Jodha Akbar, so wht I felt is tht as if in this political marriage, they r showing Akbar and Mughals as bad guy while Jodha and ppl of Amer as good who r trapped my Mughals?? Before this show there have been plenty of serials, movies and not to mention the film of Hrithik and Aishwariya's "Jodha-Akbar" which I have watched. In all those films and shows, Akbar was shown as the brave , intelligent, kind, loving emperor who loves his kingdom and ppl of his Mughal emperor. Till now and am sure forever, Akbar will be known as "Akbar the great" who is the most successful Mughal emperor of Hindustan and best among the world. His name and fame is all there in history read by all around the world.
Now my question is , is this serial trying to show him bad guy?? I mean the way he smirks and talks doesnt look like he is the Akbar whom we hve seen before in films or read in books. It looks like he is heartless and marrying jodha forcibly unlike wht we seen in Jodha akbar movie where Akbar was softer and didn't had the smirk tht this Akbar has in order to conquer Amer

No offence plzz...just placing my pov after watching this serial...seriously am loving this show and looking forward to the grand royal marriage. I'm sure eventually Akbar will fall for Jodha and her love will bloom the rose of love in his heart

btw I heard about some controversy regarding Jodha's name in the show then how come we already had a film in this name??

I know what UK are trying to say...
But Jalaal was initially only Jalaal...a badshah...
He was bestowed the name/title of Akbar later on when he became a caring honest and fair king...then he was known as 'Akbar the great'...
So may be it is jodha who changes him and turns him into the great king we all have read and studied about...
Let's see what the CVs show us now...

Dat thinking also crossed my mind at first. Bt gradually i felt dat akbar was changing day by day. So let's wat happens.

yea since they r the lead of this show so it cud happen tht Jodha will change him n they wll fall for each other as if it shown as such in the jodha akbar movie.

but now I don't like how Akbar is being portrayed as a bad emperor, yeah lets see wht happens...waiting for the tracks to unfold

No, Akbar was not actually a great king from the beginning. He had a long journey and gradually changed into the Akbar we know. This show is trying to focus on the aspects of this journey. And no, Jalal was negatively portrayed initially, but the CVs have completely changed his character now. Now that the boy king is out of Bairam Khan's influence, he is growing. Since, I am with the show from day one, I know about the change. Stick with it, he will gradually change for the better. Also, the tagline is not exactly right. He already has a heart and he is a good human being. Jodha will just make him realize that he, in fact, has a heart.

thanks for ur reply and I too agree wth u...but before Jodha make him realise anything, she first need to realise tht Akbar is a good human wth a kind heart but atm she is under wrong perception tht he is not a good person. I am sure Jodha will first realise how Maham Anga's bad influences on Akbar and how she is power upon him

Yes. That is the whole point of this show. How we tend to misjudge people based on rumors and first impressions. Jodha will come to realize how Jalal is a great person. That is what this lovestory is about.

yes indeed...thanks, and I hope she realises sooner bout wht akbar truly is frm inside...maybe she will later go to cook shahi lunch for him by her own hand too?? Maham anga will not like tht at all n will alwys be after Akdha!!!
