I was prompted by my father to cook this very special meal for him. I had cooked rajma, bhindi and chapati. Where Rajma was half-cooked, bhindi turned out to be tasty. My father was in a mood to take jibes at me and kept saying that I am good for nothing and that being a girl, I must know cooking. Just to prove myself, I decided to cook for him. He appreciated my hard work and felt it was worth a try. After that I never dared to step inside the kitchen.
