Reality of the Reality Shows

From the last few years we have lot of diffrent talent hunt competitions like Indial Idol, zee cine stars ki khoj etc etc and now Fame Gurukul.

In these competetions normally the people who watch the shows can vote for there favourite participants and have some say for the guys coming to the top apart from the jugdes and faculty view.

We have been watching some episodes of Fame Gurukul and there is guy called Qazi from Kashmir who never learnt the singing but sings because of his passion and a great performer. Got into the danger zone many times and came back because of the public votes throgh SMS and calls.

But now the point is what's the actual reality. This guy has been always discouraged by the Judges, getting comments from his co-participants and most of the time by the Faculty also. So where is the respect for the people who are voting for the particular participant. Anyway the people are no fool who will close there eyes and just vote like that without evaluating the performance, Afterall everyone spends while sending the SMS and calls.

We do strongly beleive that if you have given the rights to the people to chose there favourites then that should be respected above all. These judges and faculty is there because of the people only i.e because they have been encourged by the people.

Most of people who are watching the shows have heard these many time from the judges that the public is getting emotional and they should vote for the right talent and probably not a great performer i.e Qazi. Though in starting may be QAZI was not a good singer that time but now he improved lot and his voice quality is increasing day by day.If he voted for the fame jodi then i must say HE DESERVE IT.Because he is not only talented but a very hard-working person also and moreover he is very nice human-being by heart. He proved that if somebody has passion to do something he can do it.And we r seeing the difference.
Are these judges not biased infact THEY ARE. Every judge and Faculty has his favourite and they dont left any stone unturned for there favourites while giving the feedback.

For example when Qazi says he is missing home and his mother Javed Akhtar says don't give manipulated answer if you missing your home and mother you can go home but when Arpita cries he has lot of Sympathy. It shows the clear biasness. He critised, commented and humilated many times.but he never loose his emotion or made some melodrama like other participants.this is the time when he broke down, and i think its so natural.he is also a human being, but then also i must say he is a strong guy indeed.if somebody else will be in his place,he will quit and go back to home.IT IS QAZI WHO STILL THEIR WITH LOTS OF CONFIDENCE AND COURAGE.

This mail is circulated not to generate the sympathy for the Qazi but to spread awareness that eventually the people who are watching the shows feel that there votes should be respected and no participant should be discouraged by these judges and Faculty by there sarcastic comments and specially by PARTICIPANTS also, who himself is a performer like QAZI not lata mangeshkar or rafiji who knows everything about music .How they have any right to critize QAZI. This discouragement may bring down participant's confidence.

AT LAST I WANT TO SAY THAT "I M NOT SAYING THAT YOU VOTE FOR QAZI ONLY.SEE EVERYBODY HAS HIS OWN CHOICE AND OWN FAVOURATE PARTICIPANTS.I AM JUST TALKING ABOUT INDIFFERENCE WHICH IS CONTINUE GOING TO HAPPEN WITH QAZI.SO PL. STOP IT AND RAISE UR VOICE AGAINST INJUSTICE AND INDIFFERENCE

I Fully agree. Yesterday when I re-heard wednesday episode again, though on wednesday itself i had posted here saying Qazi sang very well with all emotions and feelings. Yesterday i listned again loudly and carefully and was confirmed about his singing ability. He did really sing well. Rex gives an appearance by being extra enthusiast of a performer. He looks overdoing his performance or enthisiasm and in the bargain his voice vibrates and makes mistakes which ofcoursed gets covered up on the music and the expressions he gives and judges or faculty cannot catch it. So in that respect Qazi is definitely better. If the same song Qazi sang is sung by Arijit i do not think it would touch the audience soul. Becasue he does not have that depth in his voice. He may be well trained in clssical. So everybody is good for certain type of songs. There are very few singers who are versatile and which definitely took them years to be so.

I have to say I agree with you!
For example when Qazi says he is missing home and his mother Javed Akhtar says don't give manipulated answer if you missing your home and mother you can go home but when Arpita cries he has lot of Sympathy. It shows the clear biasness. He critised, commented and humilated many times.
This part is very, very true. When I heard what JA said, I was shocked. Ila took the time to CRY ALONG with Shamit when he was crying about his politician business and JA comforted Arpita during her break down. And now that it's Qazi's turn, that's what they say to him? It's very unfair. I'm looking for an apology from JA. Afterall, he apologised to Shamit, didn't he? I'd say he definitely owes Qazi an apology. Since when is it against the FG rules to miss your parents? All the contestants miss their parents, when they read the letter sent from home most of them cried - JA didn't open his mouth then, did he?

They're targetting Qazi way too much.
