Again the realism in the show came through. Like they say blood is thicker than water and UB is behaving in the way most MIL will do. Although she came to the wrong conclusion she did at least try to figure out why Mukut would do such a thing after all he's been an exemplary son, brother and father then why not husband. She quickly absolved herself of any blame, after all she showed Mukut a picture and he agreed to marry Kaumudi, but most mothers will try to protect their own child even when they are wrong. It takes a forward thinking MIL to stand by the truth rather than her child and that UB is not. When it comes to a child most women are a mother first and then a woman. If she had blamed Kaumudi and Mukut both for not working on their marriage that would have been better. I would have expected her to at least console Kaumudi once but her not doing so was actually in character and I'm not mad at the character because this is all going to lead to the change in UB's thinking in the long run. Mansi was so sweet when she came and stood by Kaumudi and even RanSan were awesome.

UB always twists things to suit her own convenience.
