Dear friends, what if Dhruv had not interupted DK on their romantic night out in the 17th Jan episode. Here is my FF. I hope you like it, as its my first attempt, I would definitely welcome any comments.
Starting from the moment they enter the restaurant.
Dev: Here you go Kaajal, are you comfortable?
Kaajal: Oh, yes Dev sir, I am perfectly fine.
D: Okay, please excuse me I shall be back in a minute.
And he goes to instruct the waiter. He gives a tiny box to the waiter instructing him to bring it on a covered dish at sharp 8.00 o'clock when he signals him to do so and the waiter acknowledges this and Dev returns back to the table.
K: Dev sir, this is a beautiful place. Your choice is excellent.
D: Of course all my choices are excellent.
Kaajal understands the double meaning and blushes bowing her head.
D: Na na na na na, don't look down. Let me look into your eyes. They are speaking volumes today. Let them talk.
K: That's not fair Dev sir, you should talk too.
D: Na na, Dev sir nahi, call me Dev.
K: You are so different today? (Asking perplexingly)
D: You did that to me.(His eyes are flowing with the love he feels for Kaajal, and she too can feel the vibrations) Had you not come into my life, I would have forgotten to breathe soon. I was just existing physically. You taught me to live again.
K: Dev sir, .....Dev interupts her
D: Dev, say it, Dev (with an intense romantic look in his eyes)
K:(Shyly and blushing whispers) Dev.
Dev is kind of in the seventh heaven. Hearing Kaajal say "Dev" in that manner makes him very happy. He asks her if she would like to dance? She agrees with her eyes.
On the Dance floor.....
He takes her in his arms slowly. She shyly clings onto his shoulder with one hand and the other hand in his hand. They dance to a slow romantic tune. He remembers the first time he saw Kaajal and the way he saved her. He thinks had he not been there...... and he shudders.
K: What was that for?(Feeling his shudder)
D: What if I had not been there to save you, you could have......(and he leaves the sentence hanging. He then puts her hand which was in his, onto his shoulder to bring both her hands around his neck, and holds her waist and brings her closer to himself. Resting his forehead on hers, he murmurs, while Kaajal blushes and lowers her eyes.
D: Thank Gannubhaiya that I was there. Maybe it was to destined to happen that way.
K: How come you believe in Gannubhaiya? You never believed in God.
D: I do after the time you were in hospital. I can't imagine living on this earth without you in it. I will di....Kaajal covers his lips with her finger and does not let him complete his statement about dying. Dev holds her hand and kisses her fingers. The music stops and then Dev holds kaajal's hand and leads her back to the table. Kaajal smiles.
D: Why are you smiling?
K: I am happy to see you smiling and happy. Funny how we met and the cicumstances that we were in at Mussourie. Now here we are in such a beautiful place talking about our....
D: Talking about our what?
K: (She blushes and looks down, so Dev again holds her hand) Dev........ (she whispers)
D: You did not complete. Say it out loud. I can see it in your eyes but I want to hear you say it.(He squeezes her hand)
K:(So she shyly looks up) You too are talking with your eyes. You should say it too.
D: Yes, but don't know how to say it. I need your help.
K: You are a very strong person, you don't need anyone's help. Try.
Both of them look with intense love into each other's eyes. Dev is still holding Kaajal's hand, the music starts again and its 8.00 o'clock. The moment is lost at the sound of the music. He then remembers and signals the waiter. The waiter pushes the trolly bearing all the dishes. And he says excuse me mam, sir, your order is ready. Dev thanks him and tips him. The waiter has put the gift covered in front of Kaajal. Dev then asks her what would she like to drink.
D: I know that you don't drink alcohol, so what juice would you prefer.
K: I love pineapple, so a mocktail of pinacolada.
Dev orders the mocktail. It appears magically in just a few minutes and then Dev toasts Kaajal with his drink.
D: To us (Kaajal shyly but lovingly raises her glass to his and then they sip)
D: Shall we start our food? I hope you like my choice. I took the liberty of ordering the food without asking you, I hope I am forgiven.
K: I trust you completely (she whispers shyly and looks down at the dish that is covered)
She opens it and is surprised not expecting a gift instead of the food.
K: What is this? (Perplexingly lifts the gift)
D: Open it. A little something for the most important person in my life.
K:(Opening it, she finds a small dark red velvet coloured box. She opens it and is shocked, happy, confused. There is a heart shaped diamond ring nestled on the velvet covered bed. misty-eyed she looks up at Dev) This is for me?
D: (Taking the ring out, he clasps her fingers in his and slips it onto her ring finger. He raises her hand to his lips and kisses it and looks all the time into her eyes)I love you Kaajal. I love you very much. Marry me.
K: (Shyly but lovingly) I love you too. I knew it in the heart of my heart that you love me. But today on hearing you say it I can't express how happy I am.(She literally sheds a tear.)
Dev cannot bear to see that tear. He catches that tear drop before it can fall down.
D: Please don't cry sweetheart, these are like precious pearls to me. Don't hurt me. I hurt when you are hurt. So never cry.
K: These are not tears of hurt or sorrow. They are ("Shukre ke")tears of happiness. I am very happy. Thank you Gannubhaiya for giving me my Raajkumar.
D: I am no Raajkumar. But yes, I love you and would like to be your life partner. You have still not replied in words. Though I have your answer, yours eyes talk a lot. I still want to hear you say it.
K: Yes, I trust and love you and I want you and only you to be my husband not only in this life but also for the remaining lives that I shall live.
Dev and Kaajal are lost into each other's eyes. The waiter interupts them asking if everything is in oreder. Is the food okay, as they have not started eating yet. So Dev says, yes everything is perfect, with a double meaning looking deeply with love into Kaajal's equally love filled eyes....
D: Yes everything is perfect.(And they start eating)
