Karan is back... with Koffee
After KBC, Star is unveiling the second season of Koffee With Karan starting Sunday, February 11 at 9 p.m. Catch the most talked about celebrities let their hair down and be at their candid best as Karan serves up a heady brew. The format remains the same including the rapid-fire round. "We will retain the same candid style of conversations," says Karan. For the first time on television, Star India presents a double whammy for its viewers, as the entire series will be telecast simultaneously on Star One and Star World. This time round, Karan's exclusive guest list is not just from the entertainment industry but also from the sports and corporate world. Some of the "celeb-combos" this season will see Kajol, Rani and Shah Rukh, Priyanka and Hrithik, Sanjay Dutt and Priya Dutt, Shahid, Kareena and Karishma, John and Bipasha to name a few. Karan is keen to have Salman Khan and Saurav Ganguly, Hema Malini and Jaya Bachchan on the show as well. Says Karan, "It's great to be back! I have tried to make it more irreverent, more tongue-in-cheek, more fun... and I am sure everyone will have fun watching it. The guests on my show will include a lot of my friends from the first season but in unusual combinations and will also feature big names from the corporate and sports world. I am sure that the show will recreate the same magic, as it did in the first season." The inaugural episode of the second season is with Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol and Rani Mukerji. "Kuch Kuch Hota Hai will complete a decade next year and it will be a great way celebrate its journey through this episode.
