RaNtara OS: A turn of Events

Antara looked down as she had nothing to say, she was confused her self. How could have this happen if she had just gotten aaji's shoes fixed!
Raghu: I want you out. NOW!
His roaring voice had scared her. Without saying a word she left the room and made her way to the main exit. She opened the door and noticed it was thunder storming. She was lost in thoughts and began to walk the opposite way from her house. In moments she was out of raghu's Baathi without even realizing. Her tears had flowed in and mixed in with the droplet of rain that had landed on her silk like skin. She continued to walk on the unknown path

*at raghu's place*

Raghu had just finished helping aaji and left her room. He was about to walk up the stairs to the balcony when he saw some glass near rasika's room. He walked over to it and saw a small bag that was laying right beside it. He picked up the tiny bag and opened it. Rasika saw from behind and ran towards Raghu.
Raghu had realized that the glass that was in the bag was the same ones in aaji's room and that all of this was done purposely!
Rasika: Raghu don't open that!
Raghu turned with fury and slapped rasika right across the face. The sound of the slap echoed throughout the whole house.
Raghu: HOW DARE YOU HURT AAJI!
Rasika stood there shocked as she held her crimson colored cheek. Everyone in the house including aaji came out to see what was all the commotion.
Aaji: Raghu! Why are you yelling
Raghu turned to look at aaji
Raghu: aaji why did you come out, you shouldn't be walking!
Aaji: first answer question Raghu.
Raghu: aaji, rasika was the one who put glass in your room.
Everyone was shocked to hear the news
Aaji: why rasika, why would you do this to me
Rasika stood still, not daring to open her mouth
Raghu:BOL
He roared once again. The fire of pain was lit inside him once again, not letting him control his anger
Rasika: wo...It wasn't fair that a-antara was getting all the attention in the house, so I did this, for her to -to - to
Raghu: Look bad right! Rasika, before I can't control my anger leave my sight.
He then walked up to aaji and walked her back into her room
Aaji: Raghu, you know what this means, antara didn't do anything. You yelled at her when she didn't do anything. The poor girl just listened to you while you yelled at her and left. Go and say sorry to her Raghu. Go
Raghu: but aaji, she will come here tomorrow, I'll say it to her then
Aaji: no Raghu. This time you really hurt her, go! She lives so close to us anyways
Raghu: fine aaji, but only for you.
Aaji: good chintoo! Now go!
Raghu left aaji's room and made his way to the door. He opened and realized it was pouring. He walked out side and made his way to her maami's house. Drenched from the rain, he knocked on the door. Moment later the maami's came to open the door.
Maami: Raghu? What's wrong? Everything ok?
Raghu: ji, actually I came to talk to antara
Maami: antara? She's with aaji isn't she?
Raghu: no she left about half an hour ago
Maami: but she never came home!
Raghu: WHAT! Then where can she be in this storm!
He left the doorway immediately leaving antra's maami confused and scared. He ran into the storm, that roared louder then usual.

*back with Antara*
Antra continued to walk lost in her thoughts. Her clothes were stuck to her body from being drenched in the rain. All she could think of was how much she hurt Raghu and how much he may hate her now.

Aisi Sazaa Deti Hawaa
Tanhai Bhi Tanha Nahin

All of a sudden she slipped over on the rocks and feel on the floor causing her bangles to shatter. She picked up her wrist and held it with pain. There was blood All over her wrist. She then looked around and noticed that she was alone, in the dark hidden in the storm


Neendein Bhi Ab Sone Gayi
Raaton Ko Bhi Parvaah Nahin
Aise Mein Baarish Ki Boondon Se Apni
Saanson Ko Sehla Bhi Do

She got up and continued to walk not knowing where to go.

*back to Raghu*
Raghu ran around like a crazy man looking for antara.
Raghu: AANTARAAA
He cried out for her, but no response.
Raghu (in his mind): this is all my fault! I am the one who yelled at her for no reason. Please god, let me find her fast and keep her safe.
He was about to continue his search when he noticed something shine in the darkness. He slowly walked forward to it and bent down to pick it up.
Raghu: this is Antara's!
It was a piece of her broken red bangle she had put on this morning. The same ones that he had sent to her by a pole from his balcony to hers.
Raghu: I know this must be hers.
He placed it in his pocket and looked around. Someone was sitting on a bench not too far.
Raghu: maybe the person had seen antara pass by here.
He ran closer to the person we he realized the person was no other than antara her self. She had scars all over her and her dupatta was gone. She was looking down and crying her hear out.
Raghu felt terrible inside looking at her joule this. This was all his fault,
He walked up to her and saw her body shiver from the rain.
Raghu gently put his hand o. Her shoulder.
Raghu: antara!?
Antara looked up fast. Without realizing, antara got up and went into raghu's embrace. Her wet body was now stuck to his as she hugged him tight under the rain.
Raghu was at a loss of words. Something lit up inside of him something different!
Comming back to his senses Raghu patted antara to ensure her safety.
Raghu:Antara it's ok, I'm here
Antara realized where she was and moved away from his arms
Antara: s-s-sorry
Her body was shivering like crazy causing her to stumble in her words.

Raghu: It's fine.

Antara: Also, I- I am so- so- sorry for hurting Aaj-

Raghu put his hand over her mouth before she could finish the sentence. They looked into each other's eyes.

Raghu: Antara, It wasn't your fault. I found out that this is all Rasika's plan. ( He lifted his hand off her mouth gently) So I guess I am Sorry.

Antara's jaw dropped.

Antara ( in her head) Did he just say sorry to me?

Raghu: Wait what happened to your wrists. Why are you bleeding?!

Antara looked down to her wrists. They were still bleeding.

Antara: Woh Actually *SNEEZES* I fell.

Raghu: And now you are getting sick. We should probably get home before your whole family worries too much.

They were about to walk forward when Raghu noticed she was limping. He quickly swooped her up into his arms.

Antara: What are you doing raghu?

Raghu: Your foot is hurt, If it gets worse, your family will yell at me.

Antara slightly smiled as she dug her face into his chest. His body kept her warm as his heartbeat kept her smiling.

*20 minutes later*

Raghu and Antara had finally reached the basti. Raghu put her down. When he put her down, Antara noticed her dupatta is gone. She covered her neck and turned the other way.

Antara: What will everyone say when they see I don't have my Dupatta?!

Raghu over heard Antara talking to herself and took of his jacket.

Not looking her way he stretched out his arm to her and passed his jacket. Antara looked at it and accepted it. She put it on and smiled. It smelled like him.

Antara: Thank you.

Raghu walked towards his house without saying a word. Antara did the same. Before going into to their respected homes, the looked back and smiled at each other.

Antara: Thanks again Raghu

Raghu: Good night Miss caul.
